What makes me more sad is the fact kids who can barely write a sentence in the comments, find the fact her so-called ‘best mates’ cat fished her a ‘joke’. When genuine feelings are involved it goes beyond a joke & it’s no longer funny. She said herself she was a big girl & would have loved a boyfriend back then, she clearly lacked confidence & self esteem. Her so called ‘mates’ pushed the boundaries & purposely went out of their way to make a joke out of her / humiliate her. That’s not remotely amusing. I can quite understand why she still finds it emotional. It may not even be the fact they cat fished her that upsets her, just the betrayal from people she really loved & trusted at the time. Good on her for changing her life & getting rid of toxic people. I hope they watch this & are embarrassed of their actions. It’s a shame these two didn’t go any further, I hope it wasn’t because he hoped to get women after the show aired (I get the feeling he’s a bit of a ‘lad’); they really hit it off! Hope they meet up in the future even if it’s just as friends. x
