I am currently moving from a lovely two BR apt with large kitchen to a 450 sq ft studio. I love your color scheme. I find it comforting and is what I am using. I also have thousands of $ of artwork and two open flights of stairs where I hope to hang it. At 80 this is a challenge. I am taking from the van and tiny homes designs as encouragement that I can make it work. Carriage house is totally dormers so difficult to make end tables, teak and boat deck style, and lamps work. I really admire all of you who are taking the courage to downsize beautifully. Your home is just wonderful. I will have more to work with but won’t be able to see more of the world like you. Oh,to be 50 again. Enjoy ! You deserve it.

That's a great clothes storage idea. Might want to use a hole saw to add ventilation to prevent the mattress and clothes from getting too humid. Unless it's vented somewhere else. Also like your sit or stand-up desk counter. ⭐
