This is not the first time medical staff have mocked an ML, even if he is a doctor in the dramas I've seen nor is it the first drama that the mistress talks like a baby/little girl but it's the first drama for me to see the nurses mock the mistress's voice. I love how when medical staff see a wronged FL they protect her and mock the cheaters. Let's make it clear, emotional cheating is still cheating. In judicial terms it would be considered abandonment of affection. The wife would have legal grounds to sue for emotional/physical pain and suffering and allowed to divorce. Obviously most of is wouldn't have gone thru the last IVF procedure when he walked away. I would have left his vile ar$e and gone into seclusion with my whereabouts unknown to recuperate and stayed away long enough to force the divorce in court. Don't play nice with him, the side chick, or his ungrateful family. Bring out his infertility prognosis as proof of w6hy no kids and you want a divorce to find someone who doesn't have his issues. Infertility is a couple's problem but in a divorce it can be brought up for allowing a divorce. 2 can play this game!

I was literally just about to complain about the phone thing bcz aint no way that would happen, he would have to change gloves (or re-scrub in ) and he shouldn't even be operating on family, much less leave the surgery, if the operation wasn't her, there would've been a more serious consequence bcz that's so irresponsible. The ex is the typical "I didn't do anything wrong, why are you blaming me it's all her fault" type. The absolute BEST part of this drama is the hospital staff. Standing by the Fl and mocking the ex and Gt, hilarious! And the other dr apologizing for convincing her to give the ex an 11th chance was a nice touch. Otherwise, pretty standard.

Please, in the CDramas everything is possible. Supposedly Hospitals in China you can have forced abortions, forced operation for organ removal (unnecessary organ removal caused by the green tea and asshole of a husband instead for then to at least be donated), forced into a mental institution, et al without your own consent. You only have to show a bit of money and everyone will rush to do your bidding what can you expect from a sometimes corrupt government. Plus, let’s not forget how rape drugs are easily accesible and used in China and how easy you can get away with premeditated murder. What a great example this CDramas shows a light in the divide between social hierarchy in China.

I hate how every drama like this has the ballroom scene where the villains run rampant and no one believes the FL for 20 minutes. And of course the obligatory FL being slapped by green tea and then the spilling of the wine on her dress with no retaliation. B, please. Even if FL didn't want to dirty her hands, there's such thing as security. It's more gratifying to see villains getting smacked down (verbally or physically) than to watch FL being a prop throughout the scene. (She did smack the husband once but it wasn't nearly enough for the public scene.) If you have high blood pressure, just skip to when the FL changes her dress. The rest is good and the ending perfect imo. [I also loved the nurses smack talking that happened throughout.]

The Fl sacrificed so much for this Ml and he did not appreciate it! I liked that the Fl gave the Ml 10 chances to change his ways, but he did not, and she chose to divorce him. The Ml insisted that nothing was going on between him and this woman, but how could he explain falling asleep in this woman's bed and like this woman told him, if you didn't like me, why did he come every time I called. I hated that as a "doctor" he did not recognize the Fl being in more severe medical distress than the other woman faking injury and chose the other woman. I admired that in the end, the Fl chose her happiness and did not take the Ml back. Ww

I think finally there is a version of this story that doesn't make me mad. All of the scenes, though there are still some that annoying, surprisingly can be watched peacefully and not pressing too many fast forward. They make this one so smooth, calm, sensible, and not too much dramatic. Because in the end, it's good to know that they're still human being, worth of redemption and have a chance of better life. Moral of the story : You can have a second chance (or go to school) at any given age. 😉

Would any of you believe that a doctor who is on the operating table will be allowed to use a cellphone inside the operating room during before or on-going operation? It is prohibited for any doctor inside the operating table to use a cellphone for the safety precaution. Only a telephone hanging on the wall inside the operating room is allowed, and also, there is a nurse in stand-by who will assist the doctor to answer the phone by holding it for the doctor...
