I think you, like many others, have missed something very important about this film. Samantha starts out as "programmed or fake", but eventually becomes much more than that. She becomes a real, living, self-aware being that even has existential thoughts about her existence. The love that Theodore and her shared was real. It's just that, since she freed herself from the shackles of the 3rd dimension, so too did Theodore free himself from the shackles of his past; and to be able to move on while recognizing his past mistakes. And he wouldn't have been able to do that without Samantha. She still loves him, even as she's transcended reality itself, evidenced by the last words she spoke to him. She hopes that somewhere, at the end of time, they find each other and are able to be together again. But for now, he is as he is, a human in a human world; and he has learned how to cope with the struggles that comes with.

Spot on. I got my parents to see it and they couldn't buy the fact that an AI and a human could have a real love because the AI to them is 100% programmed from beginning to end and they couldn't get around it no matter how much I explained it to them. Samantha is more of a living breathing character than 95% of movie characters in recent years. I love my parents to death but they just can't appreciate high art.

I can't even begin to express my love for this, not only have you struck a cord within me and connected that same said cord with our main character, but you've also brought to light a phenomenal movie for me to add to the "list of movies to reccomend others" and all this while presenting it in a clean well fashioned video, well done. The script was amazing, the music choice was on point, the editing was seamless, your voice fits the narration and you can tell your passionate and care for this piece of art. Well done my man I'm honestly quiet astounded at this, you've earnt a follower within me.
