Oz tip slow down Red Dust entry: first clean rubber weatherstrip and clean the painted contact surface, apply thinly petroleum jelly like vaseline on painted surface ONLY TO STOP adhesion. Now on rubber weatherstrip apply thinly silastic RTV, CLOSE DOOR LEAVE A FEW HOURS TO CURE.

Quick fix! Put a pc of 2-3 mm rubber between body and door. Another thing that helps is to wipe brake fluid on the rubber seal. Brake fluid makes the rubber expand.
@waynejill11 ай бұрын
Brake fluid is water based and does not make rubber expand, other wise all your rubber seals in the braking system would turn to mush. Brake fluid also soften & removes paint.@@rubennilsson5416

Lmao 😂😂 I had a 69 dodge pu with a slant 6 and the door leaked air so bad and in Alaska you need all the warmth you can get in winter. My friend put my truck in his heated garage on day one cleaned the jam really good applied Vaseline to the door and then filled in the jam area with caulking gun exterior sealant push the door closed. Let it sir almost 3 days and WHOA! I had a brand new door! 🎉😂.

Another great vlog, good on you guys for helping the locals, and to Robin for those Beanies. She has spent quite a lot on all that wool! That dust coming in the back doors is a tough one. Because they are barn doors with that bloody great spare wheel hanging on there, those doors will rattle on those rough roads & will never completely seal because they are always moving. BUT I have found by turning on the fan flat out and putting the vent control to open, not recirculate, it helps to blast air into the cabin and give a slight pressure to slow down the dust coming in the back. Good luck.😊

Nasty Todd, intimidating an old lady like that with your blanket salesman technique! Neenee to the rescue and left Yay with a smile on her face. Fabulous scenery all around you on this leg of the trip, and so many waterfalls 555! I loved the way those people just appeared from nowhere in the middle of the jungle. It was like turning the clock back a couple of hundred years when everyone lived on the proceeds of what they could find in the forest. So sad that parents can just abandon their children like that leaving them with grandparents. It happens far to often in this part of the world. The little girl looked so sad and I hope that somewhere she has friends to play with. I loved the way kind-hearted Mina wanted to give her some cookies. Your footballing skills are much better than mine Todd (being a rugby man) but one of those boys still managed to "nutmeg" you twice. :-) Keep them coming Todd. Hi Guy's Another great video, a reminder to all us old farts that there are better ways to spend your latter years, than ringing the last dollar out of what ever you spent our lives doing.. Not sure what we have done to deserve this opportunity to take total control of how we organize every day, but it is what it is. Nice to see you increasing your use of some of the old lingo from the old country (frog and toad), I have some more if you need them. The issue of abandoned children, is a difficult one. As bad as it may seem it is still streets ahead of the western system of fostering, where there no blood ties. Yes some foster parents do a great job, but kids seem to come out the end bitter and resentful. You are certainly putting the troopy through its paces, and even as old as it is, it is streets ahead of anything else on the market.

God bless you Todd an Nenee for all the love you share with the Laos people and the children. It was heartbreaking when the grandparents of that sweet little child who's parents abandoned her, I could see the pain in her face the whole time just wanting her parents love and to be held, heartbreaking is putting it lightly. Playing with the children along the trip was such a wonderful thing to do, it helps bring trust and happiness to them as well as the snacks, these words from the cookie man from a two years ago, if you remember me. I said buy cookies for every child and you did, bless you both as I still follow. I had a bad three years Todd, I lost my parents, three childhood friends and 8 aunt and uncles. I am only one of five left alive from both sides of the family now. I pray to God and our Lord Christ that the pain will ease and the world keep moving on with or without me. Hi Todd, in Hmong culture, when parents divorce, if the child is a girl, the child would normally go with the mother. If the child was a son, the father would keep the child in his family to continue his bloodline. But when the mother re-marry and depending on the situation, some mother leave the child with her parents in fear that her new husband would reject her or would not want to raise her as his own. The child may be subject to verbal or physical abuse. This is usually because they are poor and the new father may not be able to provide for the entire family, let alone, raise a child that is not his own. This is not always the case, but it does happen and it's unfortunate. Hope this helps. Again, I appreciate everything you and Nini do for the people of Laos. I enjoy all of you videos and wish I could do more to help.

@Meme-jw1bg11 ай бұрын
Hmong people in laos have a history of splitting children up when divorced. The father and his family never want to keep the daughters, but the boys they will keep bc they will forever carry the family name. The daughters get to go with the mother, and if they're lucky, they will stay with her even after she's married. Some stay behind with grandparents or uncles bc the mom's new husband doesn't want them. The women will choose their new spouse over their children, which is really sad. I wish they would change that mindset.
@steveandrews49911 ай бұрын
Yes, i suppose children are disposable to them but then again who teaches them as children to adopt this mindset? The adults. This young girl looks shell-shocked. totally numb. A child has a right to a happy childhood. Too bad, as adults, they dismiss it as irrelevant.
@Meme-jw1bg11 ай бұрын
@steveandrews499 you are correct. It's been taught for generations. They see that having a spouse is more important bc when a person gets old, they have each other to take care of each other. Their dependency is not on the children bc they believe children will only do so much, unlike a spouse. There are only a few that don't have this mindset and will put all their trust and love in their kids. Thank goodness those in Western countries have changed vs. those in Laos/Vietnam/Thailand.
