I work at a convenience store, DD definitely up charges like crazy, I make sure to staple our receipt to their DD receipt so they see how much more they are being charged. Speaking on the door dash thing.. I am poor and I only use it if I dont have a car or if my car is broken down. I will order groceries normally due to the fact that if I dont id have to order an uber to take me there and back. So the fees on it are about the same if not less. Its kind of a good thing in some terms but also horrible. If I am doing it due to my car being broke down. I can get stuck in a cycle of wasting tons of money on stuff like that and not being able to fix my car. Everything now feels made to trap you. If you cant afford something it cost even more to get that thing back.
