Unrelated but just so tired of this lie he tells… Just want to point out Destiny might not recommend polyamory directly but he did directly insult one sided open relationships as pathetic, which clearly indicates thinking his way is superior. So him hiding behind not recommending it as a way to pretend he didn’t say his way was better is pretty dishonest. Also funny now it’s not “technically” true he paid for her apartment but when he was called a liar for implying it, it was autistic and pedantic to point out that he wasn’t.

Go for physical threat = lost the narrative
@zorbacosum19782 ай бұрын
Yeah, but wouldn't actual physical threat be more impactful than words in a 1 on 1 scenario ? You can throw words all you want but if someone actually beats you, you might be left with permanent disability. Meanwhile, words can't actually have real impact upon your life. Sure you could argue that in a civilized society you can call the police and let them do the "physical threat" which is a bit ironic. Or you can argue that you could have a weapon or something, but that won't always work. What i m trying to say is that, it doesn't matter how good your argument is if the other dude can just say fuck it and beat you to a pulp, which is a real threat in most of the world. You should be able to be threatening intellectually and physically, as much as is possible and realistic ofc, cause you can't punch a bullet.

@@zorbacosum1978 But do physical attacks solve the disagreement? No, it just harms the other person. Violent threats are impactful... to a completely irrelevant thing other than the argument. It's weird to use physical threats in arguments, because your ability to harm someone is irrelevant to the argument. They can still be correct even if you beat them. So it's a very clear flaw in your character that you're incapable of proving others wrong, and you feel the need to force yourself on them because of it.

One way I can tell that Donovan is projecting his past experiences is in how the same thought process and emotional loading of the analysis is used to explain both his and Destiny's relationships. If you go back to Donovan's testimony where he got shoestringed by a 19-year-old girl, he goes, "I fell for it hook, line, and sinker." @titanscar21832 ай бұрын
I mean it's just the classic mistakes of either assuming what someone said or just lying about it. Destiny has, again and again and again and again, said to his audience that there are parts of his life that he would NOT recommend to other people, but to these RP guys the moment you discuss anything they don't agree with in a non-negative way you might as well be protesting in favor of its normalization. "Oh, you're talking about being bisexual but AREN'T talking about how it's sinful and unnatural and can lead to hedonism? sounds like you're just another enemy bro, satan's army right in front of me" I mean I do it too, I think a lot of people either mishear or misremember points and exact words and general points in a conversation, but so many people online are just so extreme about it.

@@titanscar2183Well I’d push back a little because it truly seems like Destiny saying that is him hedging his bets more than anything else. At that point, it’s just “I don’t recommend this because everyone is worse than me.” It would be like some gym youtuber saying “don’t do my routine, im better and stronger than you do don’t try this” as if their audience wouldn’t feel compelled to try it because of that challenge

Open relationships tend to have vastly more issues for a variety of reasons and statistics support that. On top of all of that, Destiny has- Talked about the stats Talked about why they cause more trouble Talked about the difficulties navigating those relationships Has said multiple times that people shouldn't do it, and that he does it because he really likes sex What else do you need? The thing is, insecurity does not equal masculinity and no one should go along w/ that ded meme, Red-Pill. It's why he's so mad. And so sad 🤣

I have a problem with the idea of role models. One person doesn't have every aspect of their life figured out. You look at the stuff they're good at. I might go to linus torvald for comp Sci / tech stuff but I wouldn't go to him for motivation to workout. In the same way I'm not going to go to Elon Musk for relationship advice or David Goggins for knowledge in a technical field.
