I could literally never do this because of how much money it would be to make all of this (im not poor but all my money goes towards necessities so I dont have much leftover money) but this seems like literal art to me ! Like the process and the end result, you can just tell how much you love yourself because you spend precious time and effort into improving yourself as best you can. I love this ! I’m also growing out my hair but I have an untreated hormonal imbalance that is currently causing hair loss 💔 so although my hair is growing fast, unless I style it; my scalp is saying hello to the world, I have a schedule for a doctor soon though so hopefully I can get this all figured out

Buying the ingredients might be a bigger investment in the beginning, but they make many batches, and in the long run it is usually cheaper to make your own shampoo bars, dry shampoo, vinegar "conditioner", etc. than to buy them. You don't need fancy equipment to make soap. I just cook it in a metal bowl over a pot of boiling water, pour it into a suitable container from the kitchen lined with parchment paper, umold, and cut it with a knife. Use the things you already have. If you use kitchen equipment for making the soap, let the equipment sit overnight for the soap residue to cure, and it washes of just like soap.

I too can't afford to make my own soaps and shampoos because the upfront costs of ingredients. I used to live in Vietnam and I miss being able to buy the locust pods and whatnot to make my own shampoo. Something I did learn in Vietnam that I continue to do now is washing my hair with rice water. It's nice because it costs me pretty much nothing extra and it gives my thinning hair just a bit more strength.

You have lovely, beautiful hair! ❤ I really enjoy making soap as well, thank you for sharing the book I will definitely take a look at it!❤
It looks so good!! My hair is very long (a little longer than yours and I am a bit tall), but yours is healthier. I switched to some shampoo that I thought would be good for it, but it damaged it. I was using very natural shampoos that included seasalt and such. I also would wash my hair in rice water which I have not done in a long time now. It was really beautiful until I used this other shampoo and then when I got pregnant nearly a year ago, it got worse. I am thinking of trimming it a bit and fixing it back to the way I used to care for my hair. Your hair looks so healthy and I loved the shampoo bars you made. You hear about Lye in all these old stories and how they used it to clean everything long ago and I had never seen it until your video. Lovely!!!

I enjoy watching your videos. You make my day beautiful. While watching this video of yours, I thought for a while and felt compelled to write this comment. Skin and hair beauty is mostly related to our diet and, more importantly, our genetics. External care and shampoo are only complementary. Please consider my comment as a note for your other viewers. You have beautiful hair ... and I'm sure it would be nice if you didn't apply a banana to it or make your own soap. And even if most of us do this and more care, we will not be able to have hair like yours. This is a fact. We should not forget this. I love you and I'm glad you exist. with love
