Seeing this kind of game is fun, cause its a little different from the standard meta games. In my opinion I think the game should make it more rewarding to fight in dark age than it is now. It might be a terrible idea, but it would be interesting to see how the standard arabia games would be if 600 food was needed for feudal.

hera wants to focus on content creation, and be on a team. He couldn't find a team that will take aM. Hera's vision on content creation did not align with aM (I am guessing Hera wanted more commitment from his teammates), and GL offer was at a good timing,. You can really see that GL is pushing content creation for AOE, as you can see from their podcast, new twitter (X), etc. Honestly, aM is more like a clan than a team. Nothing wrong with that about if you want to focus on content creation, you probably want a team.

It's interesting to see how pro players manage to understand and exploit every aspect of the game, as in this "construction site battles", but at the same time it's so ugly to see how to game's original essence is totally lost. I feel like watching those AIs playing games in a totally unconvential way because they learned it's more efficient.
