If everyone hates it so much, why don't they revert the change? They can make it more open without completely clearing it. Something inbetween both extremes of old and new arabia would be perfect....

get all techs & make more production buildings, make sure youre constantly producing till 200 pop, then transition into more expensive/powerful units
