This speech reflects a clear push for economic growth and modernization through relaxed regulations and investment attraction. The balance between growth and protecting New Zealand’s values (environmental, social, and cultural) will be key to whether these proposals are seen as sustainable and beneficial in the long run.

You know plenty about that the needs of these sovereign wealth funds but are completely out of touch with your people. Seeing these politicians get giddy about foreign money is pathetic. It feels like you are about to completely price out my generation.

There's is lot to do, work around primary intermediate schools , re planning their study material. Need more teachers. So things get better when kids go to high school. Increase number of school buses in the area. Conduct exams in primary and intermediate..so kids build confident in which NZ is far behind. Increase number of seats in university for students who wants to be doctors, lawyers ..etc. Decrease in food costs None of these are were achieved by labour govt.

Playing whale song to kauri trees to prevent kauri die back is not science by a company that puts a Māori perspective to science, police numbers have not increased ,still giving Nz residents who commit sexual offences( not citizens }sentences instead of deporting them.but good moves on education, school lunches and trying to get the economy moving

Summation ? Luxon and 'Team' are 'demanding' "Value for Money"... or... "Value for Investment"... About time to have 'this' focused outlook, as opposed to borrow, borrow, borrow, as has happened for the last decade... In a 'challenging' time throughout the World, New Zealand has nothing to fear and everything to gain by 'saddling-up' and riding the Horse ! which was the 'guts' of what Luxon was stating... Thought (?) 'Winston' will like that description, as he likes to refer to "Rodeos" !

Ironically this government has borrowed more this year than any year under Labour except for the COVID year. And yet we have a record number leaving NZ, record unemployment and Gand numbers continue to increase. Luxon is a lying incompetent fool and many NZers were dumb enough to believe his waffle and voted for him.
