@@finnhodby9791 - put around 1000 miles on it and had no issues. I sold it after passing my A Licence and got a bigger bike. Its still local and going strong. As a chinese bike, they need a bit more care. Mine was garaged and sprayed regularly with AC90. I also shrink wrappewd some of the wiring to improve its durability. Great fun and superb looking bike.

Good to see you reviewing again Mark. You'd certainly need a plentiful supply of ACF50 if you used one of these everyday. Amazingly it has USD front forks for such a basic bike. Are heated grips and cruise control options? I suppose you could fit aftermarket Oxford heated grips. If it is purely down to budget then I'd prefer a good mint condition second hand much bigger cc bike. Loads to choose from around the £2-3k mark. I think the only reason you'd ride one of these is if you were yet to get your full bike license so a novice. Seriously.

Hi Stuart these bikes have 10/11 hp there isn't any restrictor on it plus an exhaust will make next to no difference it's quite loud anyway so just keep it standard...just cruise and enjoy it's brilliant looks Good luck with your CBT Cheers mark

They're not restricted. It's air cooled so you won't get much performance. If you want performance get a yzf r125 or suzuki gsx s125.

Hello again Mark, I was wondering if you could please give me your advice on a bike for myself, first of all I’m a big guy 6’1” and 300lbs. I also have two knee replacements so I’m not as flexible as I used to be , I have narrowed my search down to two bikes the Z900 or the Z900RS , I’m also a brand new rider with very little experience. Do you think these bikes would be a good fit and if so which one do think would be best for me. Or do you think that I’m biting off more than I can chew? Thanks for your time. Adrian 🇨🇦
@markpulling124 жыл бұрын
Hi Adrian ....they are both seriously potent as a first bike but if you are mature and sensible you should be ok as the throttle works both ways ...I'd go for the 900 rs is got a more comfortable less aggressive position to the z900....also have a look maybe at the versys 650 it's super roomy and comfortable for a big guy like yourself.. let me know how you get on Regards mark

You won't use the performance of a Z900 if you are a new rider Adrian. As well as the Versys 650 Mark suggested, try sitting on a Tracer 700. I'd give it a few years before you get a big retro naked!

I'm on the hunt for a 2nd bike, something small capacity bike for town use. I do like the look of some of the Heralds but the 125's seem to be underpowered - I think they only make 10bhp whereas the A1 limit is 15bhp. The last time I rode a 125 was back in the 80's on my RD125LC when they were 2 stokes and had to be restricted to keep the power down but stick on a micron and you could get 90mph. I think the 250cc Herald may be the way to go but they only seem to do a Brat with the 250cc engine.

Bought one of these for my 17 year old son and it's utter garbage! In 2700kms it's needed; 3 Speedos, 2 rear lights, 1 Speedo cable, 2 chain and sprockets, 2 throttle bodies, number plate mount and a new engine! The new engine didn't run properly as they just chuck in whatever engine/ECU arrives from China, so there's no consistency. Supply of parts is awful, so in 18 months it's been in the workshop for 6 weeks. Dealer support is woeful and nobody wants to PX. Looks great though.
