To be exact: "tenebra", plural "tenebrae", and it translates to "shadow/shadows", so whatever they intend with the variation of the -au (which does not exist in the Latin forms for this), it's even more on the point than merely "darkness". As always, great video, thank you very much! 😊

From my understanding, the heralds are not the ancients, and instead actually hail from other worlds. The ancient gateway is a portal to a multitude of other worlds as we know thanks to some character voice lines. Not to mention, shadows themselves are actively involved with the theme of other worlds, like characters stating that the pseudoscience station is a connection to another world, and the shadow Thralls being present on earth. If Alter is seemingly native to the world of Constant - the darkness is something foreign, something that has "liberated" a multitude of worlds, overthrowing local deities and moving onto other worlds.

new and possessed hostile threat? good stuff, but... still it's only if u activate rifts... i want new threats in the basic non-rift world, something like hound waves but more unique, like for example uncomprimising mode's rat raid, that's a pretty cool obstacle to deal with OR maybe... if u stay away from your base for too long, it's going to have bad consequences, like some sort of new dangerous creature is going to make a home in your base while you're away, that would be awesome

There's a post rift creature that settles in your base. It's called Deadly Brightshade. But it's post rift, so there is no other creature in constant that makes it's home in your base. But I like your ideas.

That's the problem of rifts and why they shouldn't be added to the game.

Focusing on their endgame is fine. Working towards wrapping up their lore is fine. But when you say years ago that you were going to "set the stage" for the end and all you've given us is an arguably *worse* endgame then it's a problem. Rifts have overstayed their welcome and are not the best implementation of what Klei was going for here in my opinion.

Heres my update on the mobs droping nothing It has still not been fixed but my biggest problem? It makes you can't get gears knights rooks bishops they dont drop no gears ruin And normal versions So theres no 100% gear chanse you can gamble with d fly weeds or break the things in the ruins for a SMALL chanse of 1 gear

Klei turned off the wrong road the moment they added Skilltrees. Now they're somewhat turning back and have found themselves in the oncoming lane of traffic as they dodge and weave which is making us all sick in the backseat as it's obvious that they don't know where they're going.

@@TheBeard777 im not as veteran as you guys who have been here for years, but i find the idea of skill trees ok... except when its so stupidly overpowered... like willow :) Wheres the fun in that if i can kill any boss with 200 embers. Lunar flame and shadow flame not being in her skill tree would still make her a great character

@@rsolo9294 yeah skill trees is not a bad idea it's just that the execution of them is hard to pull off as we can see with willow who is easily the strongest playable character in the game right now... as you already said, lunar flame is ridiculous, she would be still powerful without those endgame skills, u can actually kill bee queen with just spamming flame cast over and over again while running away from her with enough speed... it will take several days to kill her this way but it gets the job done even without lunar flame u know what would be a cool yet not overpowered skill? giving willow ability to burn fire immune mobs or something instead of lunar flame
