I went to St Rita’s Grammar School from Kindergarten to 5th Grade until we moved to another Catholic School. But little did I know that St Rita is one of my Patrons and I love her! She is helping me with my marriage and 2 sons aka “my 3 men” as she also had “3 men” to pray for in her family. Her metal appeared in my purse about a year after I “met” her and I do not remember putting it there or ever having it. I got to know her and talk to her daily, and recently while hearing about St Jude I went into my purse knowing that I had a prayer card for him but when I pulled it out, her metal came out with it. This was her way of reminding me that she is the Saint of the impossible like St Jude somI should pray to both of them a but harder. So I said a special prayer to each of them for my sons. And will continue. I KNOW their miracle of full conversion will come along with my husband all in God’s good timing even if after my death. My dear friend St Rita pray for us!

I am proud to say my son was ordained a catolic priest on May 21 2023 for the archdiosces of Phila Pa St Rita and St Anthony of padua are bot his favorite My parents were married on her feast day may 22 1948 and we live in south phila (little italy) her shrine is located here staffed by the augustinians her original habit is enclosed there and on display and i must say the church is absolutely beautiful built in 1909 and on her feast there is an out pouring of faithful who worship her that day St Rita pray for us!!!

If I could hear St. Rita pray to God, this is what she prays: "Dear God, please protect and save my people." Mt. Pinatubo erupted in 1991 burying most places, erasing them from the map. For ten years since the eruption, every year during rainy seasons, mud flows rushed down to these places and buried them. All neighboring towns were all buried except our town of Santa Rita. We love and honor St. Rita for protecting and interceding for us.

I went there to the convent and I cannot explain the peace I felt. There were also flowers growing where it was impossible for them to grow and saw the special small bees in the area. What I did not know was that her husband was a mean mafioso and they were in constant gang wars. But she never lost her faith. St. Rita please pray for the conversion of my 2 sons.
