Back in the 60's my aunt was in a serious car wreck, from which she was not expected to live. Traditional medicine seemed to be making things worse for her, so she started researching natural foods and healing. Today she is in her mid-80's, independent, and has taught us all the value of listening to our bodies, doing our own research, and helping our bodies to heal themselves. I've been eating whole, orgainc foods and using herbal remedies (although thankfully my health is good enough that I've not needed much by way of herbs) since I've been an independent adult. I'll be 70 myself next year and feel like I'm in my 40's. People never take me for a 70 year old. If we take good care of our bodies they will reward us in so many wonderful ways.

I'm sure people that watch your videos do feel empowered from what you teach us. Watching this video, seeing how your garden is growing already, gives me hope as to what I know will come to be here in a few weeks. What a lovely time of year, springtime, out in the garden listening to the birds, watching things turn green. Have a magnificent spring!

I cured cancer in 2014 with chaga and since then, I been looking in other things. Now I have dandelion roots and flowers that I drink every day, I also pick raspberry leaves for teas. I am looking for new things to cure myself of all kinds of things but also to be healthier. I know God put everything we need out in nature and we don't need the fake pharmacie's so called remedies that only makes us sick. Looking forward to watching all your videos.

I've spent the last several days planting out my garden. I'll be growing lots of herbs and mints, as well as veggies. Mint teas are so refreshing after a day's work and food tastes better with herbs added. It's felt so good to be outside in the sunshine 'playing' in the dirt. There are two hummingbirds frequenting my feeders now and several bees checking out their new 'grocery store' in my yard. Hopefully I'll have lots of flowers blooming soon to keep them all happy. Thank you for another wonderful and informative video.

When I was a child there was a blizzard! My mom had to stay in town with a friend. I got sick! My fever was over 104 F.. There was no way to get me to a hospital! My father put me in cool bath. Got me in a nightgown, and made a hot toddy! Local honey, tea, lemon, and a shot of whiskey! He broke my fever! To this day people tell me he shouldn't have ever given me whiskey! He saved my life! It was the blizzard of 1978 in the USA.

Key word: empowerment!! I was in tears - happy tears - watching your video because this is exactly what I endeavour to achieve. My turning point: the death of my husband, and I becoming a single mom to three young children, a pandemic, interrupted food chains, and a shortage of basic pharmaceutical medicines for children. I’m a Registered Nurse….but I’m looking more or more to my garden and Mother Nature for my medicinal needs, basic food supply, and the ability to care and nurture my health and body and that of my childrens without worry of added chemicals or carcinogens, without the worry of shortages, etc. My garden is in its infancy - with an orchard, many different variety of berry bushes, herbs, forsythia, lilacs, perennial veggies, etc - as is my knowledge of gardening. But this year, after watching many of your videos (and videos from other sources) on various subjects, i feel much more empowered to try and learn new things including raising chickens, making tinctures, and perhaps my own skin products. This empowerment will also be coupled with slowly empowering my own children with the knowledge and experience of how to use what we grow and what Mother Nature provides to benefit our own health, body, and soul. Thank you again for all that you do!! Respectfully, Rena South Shore of Nova Scotia Canada ❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦

Thank you Terri for sharing your wisdom. I’m enjoying the empowerment you have awakened in me. I’m happy healthy, feel blessed and am grateful for everything my garden offers. Yesterday my little Norwich Terrier was bitten by a bull ant.🐜. I’m from Australia . Their sting is extremely strong and painful. Dusty cried , l carried her home, gave her Rescue Remedy flower essence, respectfully cut two plantain leaves, made a spit poultice and held it on her paw for 10 minutes. She stopped crying when the Rescue Remedy kicked in, the plantain drew out the poison and she was tearing around like a Looney Tune after 20 minutes. Thank you Terri from Dusty (named after Dusty Springfield) and me. You know my eyes popped when l checked out your clothes. I have exactly the same scarf, same green cardigan which is made in Ireland…. and your skirt fabric l had in my teens . I’m 73. 🙀💚🧡from Down Under

I only discovered your channel recently & have subscribed with all notifications. 👍❤ I'm totally on board with you about exploring nature's wisdom & applying it to our health & well-being. I detest the pharmaceutical industry. Each of their products comes with side effects &/or consequences. I'm currently 72 with health issues, but I strive to minimise my intake of prescribed medications, so as you suggest, I look for the cause & prioritise it. For instance, I was diagnosed as a Type 2 diabetic, so I looked at my snacking habits & it was clear that I had a sweet tooth. I went cold turkey on sweets & changed to snacking on savoury/healthier delights, like beetroot and fermented/pickled foods & was diabetes-free within a week. By contrast, my friend said that diabetes ran in the family, so he requested medication as a precaution without being tested. He's since been told that his liver & kidney functions are compromised.. 🙄 One morning I woke to extreme pain in my big toe, so I booked a visit to see my doctor, but could only see a stand in as it was my regular doctor's day off. I was diagnosed as having gout & told to put my foot up for a week. I hate sitting around, so I googled gout & learnt that was due to elevated acidity. I knew apple cider vinegar was a neutraliser so I tried it & the pain disappeared in a day. 😀 Another time I had a persistent cough & by chance ate a dill pickle. You could blow me down with a feather, it went away immediately. My darling wife chatted to an acquaintance & by chance found out that her husband had a menacing cough. She passed on my instant remedy & was greeted with a huge hug when she caught up with her acquaintance again.

Lovely video with a heartwarming message behind it thank you 😍. For an upcoming cold and cough My friends Mum taught me to chop an onion up and sprinkle some sugar over it, leave it ideally overnight and drink the liquid this creates in the morning. Symptoms gone😊 brilliant. Haven't tried the natural remedy that came from her Grandma for diarrhea......eat a cotton wool ball ha ha. Have a lovely weekend 💝

Best thing I ever did was go natural. I'm off 20+ years of pharmaceuticals. Now I'm still repairing after 2 years, but I'm certainly not getting worse. I see so many sick people. In fact, I so many things I didn't see before. My mind is so clear now.

Thank you for showing the bluebells they are so beautiful..in the olden days we could go to the woods and pick them we cant do that now but they are one of my beloved flowers. They are also a favourite with the Fairies as when they hear the tinkle of the bluebell cups put to use as thimble cups youre bound to know theres a conference going on somewhere with the fairies...of course they are also good for mental health Thank you

My garden is absolutely chock- full of this beautiful little flower! I had no idea he was a medicinal herb until I happily came across your channel) I've just always enjoyed his elegant dancing little flowers! How amazing that I can use him for my daughter. She suffers with such heavy menstruation. To the extent that she is often very low in iron. Once again, I'm finding out something of huge value from you. Thank you so much ❤️ it's clear that so very many people have benefited massively from accidentally stumbling upon your channel ( having said that, I don't believe in accidents! I believe everything happens for a reason). So I really hope you know how very treasured you truly are!❤

There are many herbs to help with heavy menstruation. She could try Dock root as that contains organic iron as well as supporting the liver which manages iron in the body. Go and see a herbalist and get it sorted out xx

I have to say that I've discovered Danu and her gifts, she also sounds like Gaia and well as other in the Celtic mythology. I went 🤯😱 and I decided that a couple aren't as dark as certain people have led to believe.

Unfortunately sharing basic knowledge and remedies have largely been lost due to fragmented families . At least that chap had enough about him to go to a pharmacy some would have gone to an A and E department !! Thank goodness for people like you for sharing a lost art xx

You certainly must not apologize because you are not able to personally answer each one of us. This is great news! It means that all of your wonderful knowledge is reaching more eager ears and minds! While it is very, very special to receive a reply from you, it is more important that you continue to create content for us. We have been with you from the very beginning, and we love you! On the aside, I am an artist of sorts, and I would like to send you a small token of our gratitude and appreciation for everything you do for us, and for our Mother Earth. Is this possible? It is something small and light that would fit in an envelope similar to what you sent my weed handbooks in...

When you spoke about the man in the pharmacy seeking advice on how to treat a common cold it brought something to mind. There is a saying "See a need, fill a need." My interpretation of it was to always try to have a mind for helping others and help them help themselves if possible. I couldn't say for sure if this was intentional, however, it very much seems possible that we have been cut off from that sacred knowledge of how to care for ourselves and others in many ways and have been conditioned to seek assistance through many means that can be quite detrimental. Some of the basics I learned from my grandmother are things she'd never do nowadays. So many have been programmed to disconnect and leave it all to the doctor. It's like take this med for one thing. The med creates other problems. So continue with that med but tack three more meds on to treat the side effects created by the one med and so on. Anyway, thanks for sharing! Your lemon balm tea video also popped up again in my feed and reminded me of how much I adore a nice hot cup!
