Yes, but you have to give yourself a break from it now and then. Don't do it every day. Yes, it's legal, but folks it can be made illegal if you get silly with it. Definitely a top notch herb in a good way.

Mugwort, comfry and vinegar is AMAZING for bruises! The vinegar and mugwort help with the discoloration and comfry helps to heal it. Thanks for all of the info! I have wanted to find new ways to use this herb :)

Because Mugwort is in the same family as Sage, naturally it would be used for house cleansings against ghosts/evil spirits. I find that it makes your mind mentally alert without the edginess of caffiene, while at the same time it doesn't really give an energy boost to the body. I knew most of the stuff you mentioned, but didn't know about the bug repellent, and household applications. Great information.
@dicktracy204910 жыл бұрын
Interesting. I've made a liqueur using this herb (I collect herbs while hiking) and I brew and distill my own alcohol. The "high" you get makes you more alert. It must be the stimulants in the herbs.

Probably should also be noted that people are fairly commonly allergic to Mugwort, especially if they have an allergy to ragweed and/or chamomile. People should do a test patch on their inner elbow or wrest before taking it internally.

Late comment to this thread.... Mugwort is one of the 9 herbs mentioned in the 11th century Anglo-Saxon 9 Herbs Charm . As an anti-inflammatory it is reputed to be good for the skin and is a traditional ingredient in Korean skin care products. There is a company that sells 100% mugwort essence as a skin care product; available online.

not a good idea to put in direct sunlight as the the sun light destroys vital elements that we are using the herb for,i personally always bottle in a dark bottle,and keep in dark warm place for a few weeks then strain or filter off,rebottle in dark glass bottles label herb and date and use by.Please do not take offence at my commenting to you,i only want you to do further research and do well for your self and to have full strength oils so that any wise ways will work at optimal levals.Good work, nice to see people enjoying plants ,herbs and magik,i have subscribed and liked,when's the next video.

I have tons of mugwort growing on my property and frequently rub it on my skin to reduce inflammation/itching. Try rubbing fresh leaves on insect bites, bruises, sunburns, etc. It also works well as an insect repellant. My neighbors complain of flies and mosquitos but I rarely see them and can only attribute this to all the mugwort!

After smoking for about 5 or 8 days in a row (right before bed) dreams felt uncontrollable , was experiencing like screams and terror. Woke up confused, scared, frightened, panicked. Effected my sleep mood in a sightly negative way. Felt much better after breakfast ;-) Stopped having "bad dreams" immediately after I stopped. It has a rough smoke, I blend with other herbs to flavor better. The first few nights I used were very grand dreams!!! Try it, or as a tea. I feel its a very safe herb and I'm growing some that I found wild in the woods. Let me know how it goes for you Princess_M
