It looked like a lot of funnnnnn it may look stupid to non fans of both shows. But to me as a true Xenite I would have had the time of my life. Fighting along side Xena Warrior Princess was my life long dream was to meet her one day. Lucy and Renee taught me a lot. And helped shaped the woman I am today. I have been watching since the day I first saw her okn Hercules. For someone to survive the so called Gauntlet was amazing to me.

Thanks soo much for posting! I knew there was something at Universal but didn't relise how big it was! They should definatly bring it back in some form like they have done with LotR's and HP Studio tours. Wish I could have made it lol.

I guess it ran from 1997 to 1999? The franchise ended in 2001 and this was clearly shot during the show. So unless they kept it on the shelf for 6 years...? But I never knew this existed so as a fan of the show a great video to stumble onto.

@@CurlyFromTheSwirly That is true Negan's evil twin. Well there's lots of reasons Hercules went off the air. Money and mainly ratings. When Lucy got her start on Hercules. Viewers noticed her talent. And Robert Tapert hired her for Xena...and especially when the actress before Lucy... Vanessa Angel wasn't available. So the part was Lucy's. When Xena started some ratings on Hercules started going down. That's show biz.

Carl Standifer, Herc ratings dipped in season 4 cause Sorbo was ill & not in most of it. But the ratings inproved and grew in season 5 with a superb storyline. If a show gets bad ratingsz networks do sometimes cancel them. That was not the case. Herc was not technically cancelled because the decision didnt come from the network, but StudiesUSA/Universal. They basically made a stupid political decision to end the show early for whatever reason they didn't like it, Sorbo or Tapert maybe. Half the viewers of Hercules didnt even watch Xena. They shut off the TV, and others tuned in. It wasn't like Buffy & Angel were 99% of viewers loved both shows. Anyway, ratings were not the reason for Hercules (or Angel either) to end. Sorbo wanted to end season 6 & do other stuff. I hate it, cause it is my favorite show, but I understand. (The next year he got Andromeda.) Studios USA played hardball. They offered him 5 years more or nothing more. Obviously he walked. Didn't hurt him. Because the series started as telemovies, and was picked up for a show midseason, his contract ended halfway through season 6. Sorry for the rant.

@@CurlyFromTheSwirly Well I watching both. I know Kevin Sorbo was having health problems that was no secret. Hercules ended it's run. Xena went on to six seasons. I wouldn't say only half was watching Xena. All thru the seasons the show had a large number of lesbian following. That surprised Robert Tapert and Sam Raimi. And especially Lucy and Renee. I was hoping NBC would do a reboot. But guess they didn't want to spend the money. And also plus Kevin Smith (Ares) died.
