I think Julia took to candy making so easy she can do everything! I thought she had done it all before to0! Every job from making the candy to packaging to setting up the orders is important and they all do their jobs excellently! And seem to be happy and get along ! Keep up the good work y’all ❤️

You go Julia! You making candy is such a beautiful art form. You make it look easy but I know it has to be everything to a tee. You being picky shows how much you care. The filming of this video was excellent. So enjoyable!! Thanks for the great content., Everyone there is so nice and playful. So much fun to watch. Love you guys!!

In bronze casting, we call the removal of flashing, "chasing." (In your case, the flashing would be the thin amount of chocolate that Kara was breaking off.)

The point of using a whisk is to aerate. The creamer machine has already beat plenty of air into it. If Julia used a whisk to mix flavor into hot candy, there would be air bubbles in the candy from uneven aeration.
@StonedtotheBones139 ай бұрын
Yeah, I think most ppl are just going "well a whisk mixes things better than a fork or spoon" not really realizing that the medium affects that.

my favorite type of vacation is maybe going to a new city and hopefully attending a concert, enjoying all the sights they have to offer. indulging in local restaurants/cafes, hitting up antique shops or small business shops to find cute souvenirs, and maybe even an art museum the see the creativity of the locals! Ooooorrr, having a staycation, like Julia, and focusing on my hobbies that are fun to me like art, taking a stroll on the nice part of town, going to a cozy cafe to read... and bask in nature at a park on a beautiful day :o)

playing with mud and runny clay will give you the corn-syrup skills thin chocolate off the robing is the same as the thin hard candy between the drops - flashing - so breaking it off can be called dropping, de-flashing, deburring, shelling and one lady I did creme and robe with called it smoothing. You can actually use a smoothing knife that works like a flashing knife, one of the little long-arm skill saw tables with a little round shield and a round cable blade will do the work really quick. Never use a whisk when stirring up creme because they can cause a lot of crystals and lose heat quickly in the air, the correct tool is the egg silhouette shaped wooden paddle that matches the curves of the copper basin. You can keep that tool warm by the burner and its slow to heat and cool and won't make many crystals.

The candy dripper @17:33 could be modified to hold like two? Say 2 flavors and you could have like a swirl or a tiedye candy, idk i struggle with basic caramel but trying to juggle 3 different things is a no-go. They are delicate and you need haste but also precision! Flavors could be fruit like berry or cola idk

I have a question, when making the impressions of the bunnies into the cornstarch ( or what ever design you are going to make ) why not just press down and hold then bring it up and then just go back down? instead of moving them out looking at them and then having to reposition the cornstarch board again to just press again? ( this is a genuine question, because I am sure there is a reason for it )
