You'll be happier if you look at celebs for entertainment that they provide rather than look at them as potential role models. Sorbo selected roles that were pretty wholesome characters and role models for those in the real world. Life isn't perfect, and no person can be a half god in real life. If he falls short in the real world, who cares? People are still better off for seeing him on screen today than before just as many are better off having seen the original star treks. The ideal of human kind that we will never quite reach, but we should all strive. He'd probably reach more people than either of us, despite being a normal flawed human like the rest of us.
