I was just thinking how amazing and rare it is that we get to see Adine walk amongst these huge, majestic elephants, and that they were being so gentle and careful not to harm her when our little Khanyisa just comes barging through, headbutting poor Adine from behind. Admittedly, I went back to watch the expression on poor Adine's face at 09:19 more than once. 😅 Thanks for shooting this on your phone, Adine, and giving us such a privileged insight into the herd. We are truly very lucky to be experiencing these moments with you. 💕🐘

@JRRnotTolkien I don't know how they sleep. having to battle the conscious between good and that evil, between life and death. Their mind can't possibly be at piece knowing what they do., These magnificent elephants, as in all living biengs deserve to walk step by step, side by our side through this journey called life. The void the elephant would leave if they vanished off the earth would be devastating. Look at the elephant and you will see you and I. Thanks to the women and the men who care for them.

Yes - Tokwe, the matriarch is Timisa's mother. She is also adoptive mother to orphan Kumbura and her own two, limpopo and Pisa. So it is with that that Adine decided that Lundi who is Tokwe's greatest support, should take on adoptive mother role of Khanyisa. She accepted the opportunity!
