An Afternoon in the wild with elephants - Albino Baby Elephant Khanyisa and the Jabulani Herd.

You wouldn't say it had rained that morning; it is incredible how quickly the dry ground soaks up the much-needed rain! Khanyisa enjoyed her bottle from Herman, but Tokwe sampled a few drops at the end too.
Timisa was relaxed, doing her own thing independently. The elephants adapt so well to the changing seasons. You will see how they use their feet and trunks to dig up roots which provide them with excellent nutrients during dry seasons. Fortunately, we have had some good rain in the past week or two, so we look forward to a kinder and greener environment in the coming month or so!
