Looking back at unseen footage of a windy and chilly day in June for Flashback Friday!
You can see just how much she has grown and how much she has learned from her time with the Jabulani Herd when we look back at these moments.
On this day, 17 June, one of the Jabulani elephant carers, George, tried to give Khanyisa her bottle for the first time. Though experienced, Khanyisa was not used to him and did not take the bottle. Reply stepped in, and Khanyisa guzzled her milk away! It shows just how emotional and sensitive elephant calves are.
There are some delightful moments where you can see Khanyisa trying to get the full use of her little trunk and trying to uproot plants with her feet.
We are so proud of how far she has come!
There are only a FEW HOURS LEFT in the GlobalGiving LittlexLittle Campaign to DONATE and have your donation from $10 - $50 - matched by 50%! Thank you for all your support and you can keep donating and help us win bonus prizes for funding!

Makes us realize how wonderful and intelligent is elephant society- they took in her with no judgement, they understand that people feed her and still take her as their own. Such amazing creatures, we must save them- we must help - I hope more people will watch and make an impact
