Brian AKA Philly in the Philippines has had at least three instances of accidents with Filipinos, and even though the Filipinos swore up and down it was his fault and had other Filipino witnesses to back them up, the CCTV cameras, and his car cameras proved he was not at fault and he was not in trouble for the accident. The Filipinos were proven to have lied.

The most common one I know is being accused of abuse and being threatened that if you try to get your property back they will report you and makee up charges. The family will turn on you even after you have supported and cared for them.

@@ChochiT0-ddd7fd Sadly it is common. I met a girl , was very nice, we hooked up and I am honorable as can be without lies and nonsense. Next day, she wants money, even we are consensual and I outright had agreement, no money. After I refused, the accusations came and this was in Cebu. It was surreal and I had to give her 1K PHP to get her out, but she was literally making up charges and said she would go to the police and this was July 2023. I am SUPER GOOD to my mate and I just met her and know PH well, but only met this woman. I know some PNP people if I got jammed up, but these things absolutely do happen.

I guess I got lucky I live in the Philippines with my Filipina wife. Without naming province or person, I bought my wife a house from a VERY high ranking government official. On a much smaller scale was stopped twice while driving. The first time was for "reckless driving" for a lane change. If you've driven here, you know how totally absurd that is. 99% of the streets dont even have lanes. The officer wanted to confiscate my license, BUT for 2,000 pesos, I could "be on my way". When I told him to confiscate it, I had a duplicate on the way to me, miraculously I was let go. 2nd time was for running a red light. Even though there were 2 vehiles behind me, I was the one pulled over. Same senario....2,000 pesos of I'm confiscating your license. There was nonway I was handing this guy a dime and he didn't buy the duplicate story. Had to go to the local precinct to pick it up where I was told he had no authoirty to confiscate my license for running a red light even if I was guilty. They asked me to file a report against the officer, which I did, handed me my license and let me walk out the door without paying a fine. As a warning......Spent a total of about 7 days in Manila during my 5 months here. Both of those incidents happened there. Everywhere else I've been, you seem to be able to drive as crazy as the locals and no one says a word.

Paul, today's video is not new. Back in the 70's, while I was stationed at Subic Bay. Tons of females work in bars. They would put a sailor or Marine in "Legal Hold" just to get money from a sailor or Marine. Sailors and Marines were 99.9% innocent. Those sailors and Marines must stay on base in barracks restriction. If their ship was leaving port, they are left behind and can not leave the Philippines till their case is settled. Most of them just pay to leave the Philippines. I heard so many stories about "Legal Hold". So shameful of those females in bars knowing it was a big scam. One more, if a foreigner produces an over-the-edge sexy-themed video, the Philippine NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) will pick up the foreigner, then throw him in jail, depart from the Philippines and finally "Black Listed". Now let's change the ownership of the same video to Filipina. Nothing will happen to her. There are two justice systems in the Philippines. Your channel has improved a whole lot. Keep the great work.

This is very relevant to us currently. I have lived here 8 years. We are being scammed/ framed, and it has ended up in a local court. It should have never been accepted, however, it has. We have all the evidence, but they have connections. Court (etc), attorneys, all part of it together. Costing us thousands. Anyhow, scams are nothing new. But fair warning to others. It's getting worse. YES of course we want to leave but we can't right now. Filipino don't fight fair, they fight to win. MONEY.

Another tricky scenario is that as a foreigner, you are not allowed to be unsupervised with a child under 18 who is not your child either through marriage or biology. I saw a British expat in the PH. The child was, in fact, his niece by way of marriage. All was good in the end but stressful to say the least. It is a particular trait amongst many Filipinos who are jealous and impulsively report a foreigner as a way of venting their frustration at both the foreigner and his Filipina because they, the accusers, cannot have what the foreigner and his Filipina have. It is a classic trait of the poor to see one of their own rise "undeservedly" to the top so quickly and live a life of luxury and without worry.

I’m glad I read your comment. Would this apply to teachers teaching English? I’m an English teacher and do my own private teaching in Japan currently. I teach all ages of students including primary, Elementary, Junior High and High School students. I have an open-door policy and allow parents to join lessons anytime. If I move to the Philippines, I guess I better make sure an adult is present in the classroom.

@@Ian-iu2tl I understand. Basic common sense, really. Nonetheless, we must be careful especially in this day and age. Certainly with teaching kids, I always prefer group lessons for that reason. However, if a parent prefers private lessons to maximize individual attention, I do offer private lessons. I always invite and encourage parents to attend. A public place/classroom with doors and windows/blinds open at all times is the best practice to protect yourself from any suspicion. Thanks.

@curtisalbrecht9837 Perhaps a good idea, although seems excessive. I recall advice now from my secondary-teaching days decades ago to never be in a classroom alone with a female student without a ‘witness’ present. A camera may be one of the best ways to prove no wrongdoing.

Calvin is a nice fellow but there is a certain ycky man who thrives on seeing others suffer. I canceled my subscription to the ycky man 2 years ago bc he seemed a slimy slug. He is a SMART guy who now has Filipino citizenship which is yet another weapon he uses to try and shut down other youtubers. That slimy snake even went after the Filipina Pea! Mr Yck .. (not his real name but alludes to it) has evil motives and appears to be the one behind LOTS of anonymous reports. He is the virus in Dumaguete region and has literally attacked EVERY SINGLE prominent youtuber in the region. It took me a few years to realize how sneaky and evil that guy is. Sadly, he is very charismatic and can sound very reasonable at first. His only motivation seems to be to sabotage ALL other youtubers loading them with falsified legal claims and sabotaging their reputation in hopes he can earn more money from YT by stealing their content and redoing it as his own. You can see LOTS of copycat videos on the Yk channel, things others did previously. He redid their work, then attacked the original videographer.

Don't do it unless you are prepared to buy everyone drinks all night long. Most expats are better off financially than the average Filipino and mix alcohol with some jealousy and you have trouble. I remember reading a story years back about a foreigner refusing to by a local a drink and he was murdered for it.

Actually they do a lot of the same things in the USA. You can be imprisoned in the USA based on anonymous reports. Actually the most common would be loitering charges. Which you can be arrested on a loitering charge if any anonymous person reports that you were "acting suspicious". I know because it happened to me and I was arrested, they did end up dropping the charges and I was not convicted of anything but I spent time in county jail just based on an anonymous report.

It's the same the world over - the rule of the herd. If you are not a local you are a part of 'the other'. It exists in Thailand, Japan, China...everywhere. (Except Germany, in my experience, where they seem to be sticklers for what is right and legal!) Ultimately, if there is a dispute between a foreigner and a Filipino, the Filipino is always given the benefit of the doubt and is favoured by the authorities. I was once accused of causing someone to lose face because I insisted that he clear up after his dog after it had defecated on the sidewalk, where my children play. This is when they conveniently forget the fact that you are contributing to the economy, bringing money in as opposed to taking it out and employing and educating Filipino citizens. This is not confined to the Philippines, but it is a factor involved in living here as a foreigner. I tend to keep quiet. If there are any 'issues' I leave it to my wife to resolve them.

There is no new law. A filipina can not sue for support unless they have a child together. No child, no support. There is what's called common law marriage, which becomes relevant starting after 5 years living together, and even then, she can only sue for a portion of things. Anything acquired by both contributing financially to those things is distributed to the amounts contributed by each person. If she only contributes 10%, she gets 10%. So, the risk of getting sued by a filipina is very minimal and virtually impossible if not living together for 5 years+.

@@PaulWorldZoom it's a veeery important topic. For better or for worse, I prefer that to a place where the default cultural setting is Foreigner-gets-f'd. In other words, go to the Philippines, get a traditional wife, and move her outta there. Obviously, don't move her to Canada or the USA or Western Europe where she'll take on all the worst traits of the entitled degenerate feminazi, but DO NOT LIVE IN the Philippines with her either; not if you're in any way an unconventional human being (e.g. smoke weed, want a harem, are dumb enough to date not-yet divorced single mothers where the husband can literally kill you in your own apartment because you're cohabitating with his estranged wife and kids, etc.). Nowadays for a man to protect yourself from being unfairly and unjustly thrown into jail , based on lies and wrong accusations made by a woman, before u go into a room to have sexual intercourse with a woman, you need to 1) You need to ask for her birth certificate or photo ID to make sure she is over the age of 18 and you need to take videos or photos or her birth certificate or photo ID 2)You need to record a video showing the woman saying that she is willing to go into the room, with you to have sexual intercourse , and 3) in that video, you need to also remind her that you have no intention to marry her , if u happen to be in India . Based on the law in India that if u have sex with a woman, the woman can file a case against u for false promise of marriage, if u decide not to marry her , so that is why u need to have proof that u had never ever promised marriage to her and 4) you also need to mention the date in the video. and 5) make sure u send the videos proof to your cloud in case someone steal away your videos, and hence causing u to lose the video proofs that would have protected you from fale rape accusations , and 6) Avoid making friends or even talking with anybody younger than 18 years old. Avoid all contacts and avoid even smiling at anybody below age of 18 anywhere in whole world Once these above steps are done, it become almost impossible for an unethical women, to falsely and wrongly accuse u of rape, based on lies and false accusations .

The judge can declare a faltless person responsible for medical bills, and that could be the local or the foreigner. Thats even with video and witnesses. The main concern is, who has the bigger wallet to win the decision. We all know how corrupt it can be and how easy it is to persuade a decision. At times, it could be cheaper just to pay, rather than fight it. Thats providing you dont have a huge ego that has to be settled no matter the cost...lol Theres absolutely too much bs information in many vlogs where people speculate and others believe it true. If you get an accident or if you have a brawl with some drunk local guy, *YOU* get in trouble. Actually, the police can beat you like a drum if they want and if you file a complaint they won't do a thing about it.

Before having any sex act with any woman, always first take photos and videos of the woman's ID , and also showing her handing that ID for you to take a look. This prove that you did try to avoid breaking the under age law. Also Before having any sex act with any woman, always take a video of the woman saying that she wants to have sex with you , and also in the video, u should ask her what is today's date, so this is a solid proof that on this particular date, the woman herself agree to have sexual act with u . Then quickly send the photos and videos to your own email and to your own cloud storage. This is to ensure that the evidences cannot be taken away from you, in case if ever your cell phone get snatched away from you . This way, it becomes impossible for the woman to turn around and falsely accuse you of rape. This way, it becomes impossible for u to become an innocent victim, and impossible for u to be thrown into jail for life, for a crime which u never ever did

My advice if deciding to live in SE Asia; marry into a large influential and connected family with possibly a high ranking cop in the family (skip the problematic province girls). That’s exactly what iv done, it’s the smart thing to do if your foreigner in a country filled with poor, desperate and corrupt population. It’s risky SE Asia guys, nothings changed in decades. Think like Chuck Norris Missing in Action and you’ll be fine

Some of these expats act like they get paid to advertise these young girls, they constantly assure their viewers it okay to hook with the young girls. I don’t think anyone should promote these girl, even if it’s a Filipina/ Filipino, just seems wrong, where are there respect and morals? Not everyone is looking to move to the Philippines much less hook up with a youngster, if we like the you tuber and his content we faithfully watch. Great video

Don't know all the facts but Rufina intimated that Phil did things reprehensible and may have fled the country to avoid prosecution. Idk. Best thing is keep a low profile and be very careful driving assuming everyone is going to try staging an accident mentality. Dash and bumper cams are a great idea, just in case..
