Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a joke. Some of the old heads need to get together and create the REAL Rock and Roll hall of fame. Dolly Parton and her heavy country accent in the RnRHoF is like putting a cat in a dog pound and naming him Rover.

Define Rock&Roll? This award has become less relevant with each passing year as they acknowledge performers who arguably have absolutely nothing to do with R&R . It's laughable....pathetic and insulting to all the legit Rock&Roll musicians. Not that they give a F_ _ K ....Most music today is a forgettable pop wasteland of image...overproduced performances by marginally talented people who are good at one thing....self-per-motion. That's it. You get the music you deserve. Enjoy.

Hoping he gets in and he has got a good chance but I said the same about Warren Zevon last year and look what I happened . How is sade,Mary j bulge,Erik b and rakim, and others considered rock n roll.its pathetic.they should build a new rock n roll hall of fame that actually has rock n roll acts in it,and do away with the country,rap,R&B,jazz entertainers.dont get me wrong I love country music.but it belongs with its own class.they wouldn't put slayer,Metallica,Megadeth,ratt,dio,judas priest in the country music hall of fame because it wouldn't make sense.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation was established on April 20, 1983, by Ahmet Ertegun, founder and chairman of Atlantic Records. After a long search for the right city, Cleveland was chosen in 1986 as the Hall of Fame's permanent home. Architect I. M. Pei designed the new museum, and it was dedicated on September 1, 1995.
