The thing I appreciate the most about listening to this is just how much effort goes into what seems like goofing off - and I mean that in the best possible way. The Lonely Island will rarely be accused of taking themselves too seriously but there's a moment early on when Andy's serious voice cuts through and you can hear just how proud he is that it all came together. Brilliant stuff.

So many things to say! 1. Charli showed her acting chops like crazy on this short AND that entire SNL episode. talent talent talent. 2. Andy I 10000% agree that her performances were some of the absolute BEST I've seen on SNL. I was frozen watching her performance of Sympathy is a Knife. It was incredibly powerful. 3. I was so glad Jorma asked about the "conditioning" line because I also did not get it. 4. Please make more episodes and talk about absolutely anything because listening to all of you is seriously such a bright spot in a dark time.

I'm blown away how quickly you put the video together. This is to me an all time great music video. It's hilarious, tight, and beautiful. Andy and Charli absolutely killed it playing this couple. It's amazing that the wife got added later, because I cannot imagine this song without it. Just a brilliant 3 minute story. I'm amazed by how quickly you are able to make something this polished and enjoyable to watch. The song is catchy and great, but the video is on another level. Also shoutout to Colin because I'm grateful I got to relax and enjoy this incredible song.

I totally agree with Seth that this one is Criterion Collection. Also I hope that when you cover this short again the future, I would love for you to talk about the rest of the SNL episode even though there won't be a "Seth's Corner." It's a really great episode overall! I would argue that SNL is currently in AN Golden Era 😀

That song was fantastic, and the video was just...so good. I love learning the background stuff about the arm wall or the peeping curtains, because I adored how they built those sets to use so sparingly in the video, but I just can't un-picture Andy in front of that wall in the full yellow outfit. Which was great, because that was right before it introduced Charli in her full yellow outfit. She just nailed every aspect of that video.

Love this short! The best thing about TLI shorts is that while they are indeed funny they are also actually great catchy tunes. I've watched the video several times and the song gets stuck in my head. I catch myself singing parts of it throughout the day. Charli kills it in this one. She really becomes the character.

This short was one of the first things to actually make me feel a little bit of happiness and hope in the, let's say, "post-Doug Emhoff relevancy" period...I really hope this isn't the last digital short of the season, but if it is, it absolutely came in at the perfect time when I and so many others needed a good laugh. Such a triumphant reminder that comedy can be a light during scary times, and I thank you all for that - it truly is a gift more than you know.

I'd say "Here I Go" draws on soul and rnb (Commodores, Earth Wind and Fire, Lionel Richie). Maybe it's blue eyed soul. Electric Guest's songs like "This Head I Hold" have hints of dream pop/ethereal, and they isolate the vocals and add effects to them sort of like the Avalanches do, so I'm almost tempted to call it Trip-hop, although the Avalanches too are inspired by 1970's soul.
