I get both sides but it is perfectly legal to build a gun at home for private use, as long as you're not prohibited from legally owning a firearm in the first place. How many of the actual small percentage of "mass shootings" were committed with an 80% percent lower? A few years ago, here in Arizona, The acting attorney general.under Obama allowed hundreds of full assembled...real firearms to be purchased by gun runners with the intent to allow the to be brought into mexico for the Cartels So where does "saving lives" really come in here???

Here we go! The honest people/ law abiding citizens who just wants to build their own rifle(s) are targeted but the criminal will still find a means in which to obtain a weapon and do what he/she intends to do! I heard ONE example of the use of a “ghost gun” in the commission of a crime. What will be the course of action for “single shot” gun made from a 3D printer? The definition of a ghost gun per the FBI is any gun with an altered serial number or no serial number. These "ghost" guns being found at crime scenes have scratched off serial numbers. Do you think criminals have the tools or patience to make a complete lower?

doesn't matter if they take broken guns at the federal gun buy backs. if you disassemble your guns, bring in everything but the lower receiver (tell the officers the lower was lost in a boating accident), then go online and purchase the parts to rebuild it, it's still completely untraceable
