I think Dr. Ranganathan conducted himself rather disgracefully here. His sarcasm was immature and over the top. He kept interrupting the guest Dr. Babones, not allowing him to make his subtle and nuanced point to the audience that his anointing Shekhar Gupta, Rajdeep Sardesai, and Karan Thapar as his “gurus” led him to understand their flawed analysis and motivations better, allowing him to make his assertions against the left-liberal ecosystem that constantly undermines India’s government and its efforts towards enacting rational policies. Instead, Dr. Ranganathan prevented Dr. Babones from making this point to the audience. This was a rather crude example of a right-wing thought leader making an ass of himself. The audience also looked rather uninformed, not able to appreciate nuance, and without the slightest of grace. Not one of the organizers objected to Dr. Ranganathan’s onstage behavior. If this behavior is allowed to continue, we will soon lose what little support we get from balanced observers like Dr. Babones. Don’t make enemies out of friends. And learn to appreciate nuance.

This is the only video in which I did not like Anand sir's way of conversing. I support and agree with what he says in this video to a great extent. But I didn't like the way he kept interrupting the other person repeatedly.

We need to come out of this identity crisis and call a spade a spade -- That professor could have kept quite seeing the outburst of opinion on his 3 GURUs .. We can not brush aside stating that is his choice -- Come on -- Dr ANAND RANGATHAN showed some spine which should be encouraged - Otherwise that White professor would have argued endlessly to justify his choice of GURUs which is absurd
