Is Albania worth visiting? Is Albania a cheap place to visit? Is it safe? is it poor? Let's find out all these answers in today's vlog, where I will bring you around Saranda and Ksamil Beach. I will also show you some real estate prices. In my opinion, Albania has a very bright future on the horizon. After many dark years of communism, Albania is ready to rise and shine. Have you ever been to Albania? let me know in the comments down below. ;) Thanks for watching and I wish you a beautiful day! I'm from the US and i've spent two seperate two week trips to Albania. One in the summer time and one in the spring time. The first trip exploring Tirana, Durres and Podradec. The second exploring southern Albania: Vlore, Sarandë and Gjirokastër. Some of the most beautiful scenery and friendly people. Especially Sarandë and Gjirokastër, it was almost as if out of a movie set. Look forward to visiting again someday, the whole country has a very distinct aura or magic about it, maybe due to its recent emergence as a country available to the rest of the world. Can't wait to return someday.

As an Italian we have a total different way of view. Tirana and especially the capital it's not so cool, not safe, poor, sometimes they do have power outages all over the place. Once parked my car in front of my apartment that i rented, called police bc i observed suspicious activity until to no police power at all. The next morning i reported my car for being vandalized and tried to steal, to open the driver door but to not good results for them. Left after 1 week. Disappointed and terribly & terrified

We just left Albania 🇦🇱 Was there for 30 days ....mostly Tirana County and the Northern County's....although we did go down to Vlore County for 5 days ..... Wanted to go up to the into Alpine Mountains but our loaner car 🚗 was of very small engine and 175.000 km on the clock .... Albania 🇦🇱 is our most favorite Country in Europe 🇪🇺 the most friendly people and everyone was super nice to us even the Traffic Police 🚔 😀 We wanted to stay longer but will come back next year .... The US Embassy in Tirana says that US Citizens can get there 90 Day Visa Extended on the spot for 1 Year Visa at the Local PD Station.... Albania is very affordable and the Food is very good with a huge variety and many Vegetables and Fruits as Agricultural is big part of the Economy.... Ciao Tirana see you next year 👋

Those condo prices are incredible. It looks like a very lovely place... and Albanians are famous for being friendly and welcoming people. On the topic of safety and Albanian people, in their history it was a cultural norm (from what I've read) that they would generously offer anyone who needed a place to stop and sleep a bed and food for the night. They seemed to be one big community or family. No doubt that has changed somewhat as they became more westernized ("my property, my stuff"), but fortunately it will take some generations for that kindness and generocity to fade.

@portuguesetraveller Жыл бұрын
Came back from Albania last week, and to be honest, the prices they are using now in days, its basically the same as the rest of europe, so in my opinion your better off any other place in europe where you can get have access to decent infrastructure. And to me ksamil is a tourist trap, its so overrated its scary. The rest of the country i enjoyed getting to know, but ksamil was a real bummer. Berat and Gyrocaster were decent surprises. Almost all albanian beaches dont have any sand, so just keep that in mind, the alcohol there is also kind of expensive considering your talking about a place with fairly low wages.

Albania has a lot of natural beauty. I want to visit sometime. I think your view is pretty simplistic of why Albania is poor. You just can’t blame it on Communism. Even in many parts of your own country of Italy, you have impoverished people in the south living in destitution. And don’t get me started on Thailand which was never communist yet it’s dirt poor in a lot of areas. And I’m not so sure if Albania divorced itself from its communist past because Albanians still overwhelmingly elect socialist parties to lead the country. So some people may be doing better since the fall of communist, but the vast majority are not economically better off. But keep up the good content! I like watching your videos.

Be ware of females stores clerk, they always will try to trick you with money when you purchase anything. In general people are very friendly and helpful. The food I'd good and cheap.
