"Do not bypass for the sake of being happy, for the sake of being strong. The greatest strength comes from vulnerability, the greatest strength comes from your fragility." So very true, so very brilliant

Agreed. Being angry or crying it out is a necessary part of the process. Tears cleanse the soul.

This one was right on time. I have been able to release all of my toxic relationships except the one with my twin sister. This past weekend I came to spend time with her as I'm moving 800 miles away soon. During that time she put her men ahead of me. Was bringing a new friend over why I was there to stay the night. This is not the first time. I was no longer in denial, I went from anger to acceptance. Have taken a few days to process yet again. She's all I had left out of all my relationships and now I have to let her go. I'm okay as I am tired of being hurt by people I value. Tired of being confused by inaccurate messaging as I'm on a healing journey. I've learned that sometimes everything must go. It hurts but I'm ok. I just keep popping that Shefali pill. Thanks for reading. Be empowered to all

Hello dr. Shefali. As a man, reading this book was a breath of fresh air. As a student of mindfulness and self responsibility you touch on concepts that I align with, however it is the first time I’ve heard this from the perspective of women. I hope to further achieve awakening and I admire your brilliance and strength. I hope to find a woman that embodies these traits one day.

Beautiful. I've only recently learnt how not to bypass. Before that I was denying and lying to myself in every area of my life and believed I was easy going, tolerant and patient;). What a great awakening it was to see how NOT at peace I was when I went inward. Your work is changing my life. Thank you x

"You get to be the final authority in your life. Give yourself the credence, the highest job description, title, the ceo the queen king of your kingdom. There is no one out there who is more important than you." Dr Shefali I really want to do this, be this, but I just dont know how to

Wow this book club session has me all in my feelings! When I reflect on my past relationships, I often struggle with being loving to myself in a time when I was not awake. I mostly resent the fact that I held on so long to what I thought was love, but in the end knew I had been kidding myself the whole time and have a hard time making peace with that. your words have acted like a guiding light in the dark created by these experiences. Thank you for being an integral part of my life long healing journey Dr. Shefali (& please consider Connecticut for your 2022 tour!)💜

There are more than 5 stages, and it’s difficult, I lost 23 family members in the same year. My spouse, my grandma, and all the closest. I’m working more on myself, I tried dating recently and had the worst of situations. So I’m back to working on myself.

Im here to change, i spent my entire 40s being really really angry, went back to school and planned to even become a lawyer so no one could ever mess with me again, told everyone off for almost ten years. Now I am 49, realized I dont want to go to law school. I am an artist, suffered bad depression, anxiety and weight gain. Now I want to know how to do this. How to take responsibility and move on. I have no idea where to start, but Id like to read your book. I do all the things you say not to do and I do them.

You know sync in life, i just lisyenedy to Lorie Ladd on her channel saying to feel your feelings, whatever they are. Sister Shefali, at some point i was about to ask how to do when this is about grown, adult child.. kind of hard to process rejection especially because of my harsh behaviour back in time. However at least, i will observe my true feelings instead of playing the strong profile, i think i am bypassing because of spiritual expected attitude of me. Thank you for your quick layout. One love everyone

DABDA is the 5 stages of grief... you said that you use it all of the time.... does this mean you used it for other feelings outside of grief, or is grief a frequent feeling for most?
