KNIGHT and ROEHL are the only two companies I have found with the casual option; 14 out 7 home or 7 out 7 home.

They sure do. Just cause we work for a mega carrier doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. We have so many million mile drivers and long term drivers. We have that for a reason.

Just finished my 2 day orientation for Knight at the Lakeland terminal in Florida. Currently waiting for the lab results to come back to get hired. Im drug/alcohol free so shouldn't be no issue 😎. I was fresh out of trucking school and they took me ...I was $5k out since I paid for trucking school. They also offered the tuition reimbursement so thats cool. Look forward to working for them at least for the experience

I left Knight Refrigerated, worked out of Dallas and couldn't get consistent miles. I would stay out 3 to 5 weeks. No one cared ...

Been with knight refrigerated for 13 years had air problems with my truck kept complaining that I was losing air pressure instead of listening to me I was treated like I was a idiot now mind you I only have 35 years experience and I'm no expert when it comes to repairs on a truck but I do know when I have a problem was told it was the way the truck does even had the shop supervisor get in my face and pretty much told me I was stupid later I found the problem a glad hand gasket I replaced it and truck is doing fine could not hear it because of the refrigerated unit running now keep this in mind I'm the stupid one come to work and you will be treated the same way before swift dam good company after swift it went down hill

i been hearing that im over variant now. and i dont have to fight for a stuid 34 after 2 weeks of running. and steady miles. they actually give me a pay check still if im on a 2800 mile trip and wont turn it in by sunday.

@Trucking Across America they will split up your miles so you can get a paycheck just ask your dispatcher but do it before your payroll cut off

I’m not going to knock your information but is this your numbers? My real question is: What’s amazing about your or any fleet that Knight has? Because you can say hey you’re doing well per miles, hometime and pay. But what about the fleets?

Any reason you didn't mention money? 150,000 miles a year for 35,000.00? Maybe there is a difference other than the name on the building. Happy for you.

I'm looking at Knight Transportation to get my CDL. What do you think about Knight for a new driver? I think the school(Phoenix?) is $3000 if you pay up front. But it says you get paid while in school. I'm not sure if this is accurate. Do you have any info on this? I'm in Ohio and would try for the Columbus location, or the Atlanta area is also appealing. Thank you.

@@TravelWithRick313 yes I've done lots of research I was just curious cause for 1 I'm a type 1 diabetic I was on disability for a while so i really don't have the work history that prime requires but I do want to work for them 1 day cause I want to lease a truck but I have no problem working some were for a year to get experience but I've seen alot of good things about knight I'm just curious if I should get my cdl and then go to knight without having to sign a contract just in case but if knight is good enough I'll do the contract I really don't have a problem with that.
