Xavi may have his flaws, particularly on European stages, however the most underrated aspect of his coaching is man management. He has handled so many ego's and kept them in check like that of Lewandowski, Pique, Alba, Kounde, Dembele etc. Also he revived many outcast players careers like Aubameyang and now Felix and Cancelo who had attitude problems everywhere apart from Barca. I'm pretty sure he can also revive Sancho's career as well.

According to me,during the past two seasons after Xavi took over,i wouldn't totally blame him for how we performed. To understand what i am saying look at the present Barcelona squad its complete team. When Xavi took over,Barca didn't have natural RB,didn't have playmaker or creative player, both our wingers were not the best,we didn't have best substitutes for our defense and midfield. Right now its a different situation,we reinforced our defense,midfield and we let go three wingers by having Yamal and Felix.

@@Novice-bn1xu I swear you don't watch the games, Gavi is more than intensity, he recovers balls like nobody he gives the team balance, you have players to do other tasks, his game against Madrid, he scored and assisted 2 goals (this isn't intensity), Pedri as scored clutch goals for Barca like nobody, Pedri was more of a clutch even more than Dembélé, indeed, if you check the stats about the moments Pedri scores, you will end up finding out that, Pedri's goals are either a winner or a leveller (most of the time). Given their ages, none of them is overrated, even Xavi and Iniesta were not playing high football at the ages of these 2 boys. Check Pedri's game against Bayern (first leg), the only things I'd actually accept, is Pedri's constant injuries, which don't allow him to have continuity.

There are two types of wingers Fast/strong with good dribbling and normal shooting or good shooting. Got example, ferran, raphinha, rashford, dembele, fati. The other kind are : not very fast but technically very well gifted, amazing dribbler, perfect passing ability and vision, space exploiters. They are essentially midfielders who are very good finishers. For example, bernardo, felix, muller, cherki, etc. Barca had the first kind of wingers but not the second kind. Messi was both he was the goat, when he had pace he did both when he lost pace he became the second kind of winger. That's why xavi played gavi on the wing to fulfill that role of a winger. Iniesta used to play on the wing too. For the same reasons. Felix fulfills the spot. And very importantly,what did muller use to do? What is he known as? The Raum dauter, the space explorer. Getting into empty places to create passing opportunities for lewa or score himself. Guess who does that now in barca?... Makes sense doesn't it?

Apart from Felix, every single player he demanded and received is performing, Eric’s and alonso’s signings were definitely down to our terrible financial situation, Kounde is killing it at CB and is arguably the best CB currently in Europe, Lewy is doing Lewy things, Raphinha looks like a new man with an actual RB behind him and Cancelo is literally the missing piece to Xavi’s system, having that kind of a RB allowed Xavi to go back to a 3 man in the attack and have Cancelo sometimes be the 4th man in the midfield instead of Gavi when Xavi had to play him as the false winger, Gündogan and romeu are also showing their worth, Balde and Yamal’s rise are both down to Xavi, Xavi knows what he wants and he is showing it.
