Great to see Ellis. Agree with Steph that Mando season 3 went wrong by weaving too many threads. Seasons 1 and 2 had a singular focus of following the Mandalorian and Grogu.

The thing I’m worried about with a Mando movie is the same issue I thought Mando S3 and Ashoka had: it CANT be inside baseball. Both S3 and Ashoka operated like they assumed the audience had all seen the cartoons…and that’s just not the case. Not only will that be true for the film, it will be true that many of the audience members that turn out for the film wont have watched any of the tv shows, live action or cartoons. They need to make a film that can truly stand alone, while being a continuation of the tv show, which is a hard line to walk.

I hope that Mando Season 4 remains Mando Season 4, and is not turned into a movie. While I don't feel this way, people who complain about the Sequel Triology often say there wasn't a plan. If they turn Mando 4 into a movie, they are changing the plan they had - Skelton Crew, Mando 4, Asoka 2 and then Foilin's movie. As Ellis suggested, this may be reactionary. Just stick to the plan - Rey Movie, Fiolini Movie and then Mangold. If the release dates are moved again, it's fine - The strikes messed up schedules, it's understandable. If they are going to make a movie, yeah I would say Favreau, if not Bryce Dallas Howard, but again, I hope it remains a Season 4.

If they did the Mando Season 4 plot as a movie; it should be considered almost Part 1 of the Thrawn saga. Call it Rangers of the New Republic or Agents of The New Republic or something like that. Have it be a Din, Grogu and Ezra buddy cop movie with the epic back-drop of Thrawn's first strike against The New Republic. Throw in some Boba Fett, Space Bill Burr and expand the war council from Season 3 into more fully realized characters. It ends with Mando getting captured and unmasked by Thrawn while Grogu flies to Luke's school to ask for his help. That cliffhanger will get everyone ready to go nuts for the bigger crossover movie.

Mark was great at Flappers. I recommend seeing him (or any of the crew) whenever you can live. Everyone was great at Flappers. I flew in for the show on a one day trip and it worked well enough with Burbank airport that I should be able to do the same for future shows. Hopefully not after working all day in the future.

I tend to lean towards it not being a "Christmas movie" (explanation to come in a second). First, let me just say I've never really paid much attention to the 'Die Hard' debate, however, I [obviously] have heard of it & know the very basic premise of the argument. I enjoy the movie, but it's just not necessarily "my thing". So I don't really have a strong opinion either way, but, in the past, I have tended to lean towards it not being a Christmas movie... but again, it's not as important (or should I say a "big thing") for me. The reason I lean towards it not being one is because I consider a "Christmas movie" to be one in which the plot is solely centered around Christmas. To me, the plot of 'Die Hard' is centered around terrorism/terrorist attack. It just happens to be set at Christmas time... I guess at best I would say it's Christmas themed but not a "Christmas movie".

Controversial opinion: Kylo should have gone good, and Rey should have gone bad. Her character was always presented as stronger than Kylo, so he never made sense as the big bad. The idea that Kylo was never going to be bad, but Luke's fear of it happening caused his turn would have been so damn compelling if Rey was actually turning before his eyes and he doesn't see it.

I can’t get excited for anything coming out of Lucasfilm. The Mandalorian seasons 1 and 2 were incredible; however, season 3 was a letdown. Something changed. I didn’t care for the sequel trilogy, Boba Fett, Obi-Wan or Ashoka. I didn’t watch Andor. If any future projects are like those, then, I can’t get into them.

A Christmas movie is a movie that specifically has to do with Christmas, and is usually released in November and December. Movies like The Santa Clause, Miracle on 34th Street, Jingle All The Way, Home Alone, etc. They are generally rewatched in November and December in the lead up to Christmas. I don't watch The Santa Clause in April, or Jingle All The Way in August. Some people might, but most people don't. A movie can be set at Christmastime, and they can be released anytime during the year, and can be rewatched anytime during the year. Movies like Die Hard, Iron Man 3, The Princess Bride are movies set at Christmas, but they can be released and rewatched at any time. They are not specifically Christmas movies.

For me The Last Jedi gets better each time i watch it but. I can easily rewacth Episode 7 & 8 and ignore 9. They should have commited to Kylo Ren not being redeemable. Jon Favreau needs to be lockdown for directing The Mandalorian movie. I don't want to see a twist where it turns out that Taika is directing it. As far as glitching goes Kristian it's not that bad i expected worse. James Cameron needs to talk more about Alita sequel whether they have a script or not.
