I was 16 years old in 1959 and in at the very beginning of the 60's, I am 77 years old now and I still play all the 60's music, I have it on my Bluetooth earpiece when gardening and belting out whilst doing the housework. I met my 18 year old boyfriend in 1964, we married and had 47 wonderful years together before he passed away 5 years ago, if I had just one wish I would wish to go back to the 60's and do it all over again and not change one thing. My life was magical.

Because we had freedom! We knew how to have fun and fun we had... and we were at the beginning of a huge revolutionary period. The 60's was an amazing decade! They say if you can remember the 60's you weren't there. What a load of BS. I was there in full swing, born in 48, and I remember it all.. We saw the birth of The Beatles, the Stones etc.. ❤ wonderful times never to be seen again...

+lightcaesar I can only wish I'd been there to see it. However, I have to live the Sixties through Butlin's in Skegness, and their "Sixties Festival." It's good- (don't get me wrong, and I thoroughly enjoy going to these gigs and I really look forward to going), but I should imagine it's absolutely nothing like it would of been to of actually been alive during the Sixties. o.o

We had mostly groups, now we individuals that think they can sing and write. Solo acts actually had talent back then...not today..vanilla pudding!

Hell, yeah! Most of all of the popstars of today are so gimmicky and bland, and their music is just noise.
