My dad had an 80 and an 82, did custom work with both, mainly oats, pulled a tank wagon along side, the original dump on the go

Makes me want an IH pull type combine now! We’ve got an old AC All-Crop I was just mentioning to dad last night I’d love to have a field to put it in. But now I want an IH to be in the field with it, and of course the old Facebook marketplace has a set of 76 for $600! Why is it there’s always a good price on something when you can’t get it, lol! Thanks again for the fun to watch video!

Don't despair over owning an All Crop. Those are a bit easier to find parts for & can do a better job than the 76 or 80. Though $600 does sound reasonable for a 76.... even if it's listed on Bagface. :vD

@@ikonseesmrno7300 I must say I do like the All Crop, and wish that we were able to use it more. But I would really like an IH combine. Yeah I thought so too. There two for that price and they’re a little rough but really good looking yet. It wouldn’t take much to get one or both going. One is a straight cut and ones got the dumby head or whatever they call that. And hey, I can’t diss Facebook marketplace! I’ve found way better deals than Craigslist and there’s a ton less of the stupid advertisements that have nothing to do with your search, in fact I can’t say I’ve seen much that’s ever not related to my search until you’ve been scrolling for a good time.

@@ThisOldFarm Wow! Ads on Craigslist? That site has really gone downhill. First it was the removing the personals & leaving me nothing to laugh at over breakfast. Now commercials. Just terrible. :vD I'm not a fan of the Facebook platform in general, but if it gives you a decent time searching for stuff, definitely go for it. Sounds like another reason for me to stay away from it as I already have too much stuff. Lol!

@@ThisOldFarm Well, I think that Facebook post you put up for my IH filmstrip videos has caught on. So much in fact that, as of right now, visits directed rom FB account for 83.1% of my external traffic source. The next runner up is Red Power Magazine at 5%, which is odd. I haven't seen mention of my videos on that forum yet. There's a bunch of oddball ones after that like Verizon Messages?? I have no idea what that is & I've had Verizon service for 5 years now. Oh well. I wanted to say "Hat's off to you sir!!". I can't thank you enough for posting that link. As an aside, my transfers are going to be down for a day or two yet. It seems some boob busted the base of the projector bulb when he put it back in. So, I switched it out for a brighter bulb.... which apparently burns quite a bit hotter & fried out my thermal fuse. *sigh* So, I have to wait for the local camera shop to open tomorrow & get another bulb. The guy also has a few salvage Ektagraphic projectors that he can pull a fuse out of. Should be up & running after that. Unless I do something else dumb....

@@ikonseesmrno7300 Hey, you're welcome! Sorry I didn't respond sooner its been a busy few days with the MD and getting some findings on that. I'm glad that you have gotten a great amount of input from facebook and hope it continues! Sorry to hear about the misfortunes with the projector. It always sucks when something like that happens but it will be good to know it'll be good as new (or close if not) when you've got it back together!

The newest combing my Grandfather had was a 76. Was really hoping there would be a film for those in his collection. Guess I'll have to keep my eyes open. Regards!

My brother has one still in working order, and he wants to sell it to make more room in his shed. They were really good combines in their day.
@ikonseesmrno73003 жыл бұрын
They were great combines. If I had she'd space, I would be interested. Have to keep the hay equipment dry. The new-to-me NH pickup wagon takes up a lot of room or there would be space.
@hturbo10073 жыл бұрын
@@ikonseesmrno7300 that's my brothers problem. As the equipment gets bigger, the shed gets smaller.

@@hturbo1007 Always the way it goes. Going to be looking into the costs of having a barn torn down & moved this year. Should give me a little extra space. Oh wait, it's full already & not even in the works yet. Have to get the stuff in from outside first. Lol! Say, how's that turbo H of yours treating you? Haven't seen much of it in your recent videos.

@@ikonseesmrno7300 the H is treating me just fine. It's a very fun tractor to drive. I'm thinking of doing a video of show and tell of the turbo under the hood this summer.

@@hturbo1007 Do you work it at all? I'm curious as to how good it is on the belt & PTO jobs. Been considering turboing one of my H's to run the 22" separator.

My grandpa had a pull behind and all I remember is that it was red and had a bench seat where you fill a bag with the grain and the guy next to you sewed it up and tossed it out. I wonder what kind of machine it could have been. Anyone?
