Here's A Quick Gen 9 Monotype Tier List.

Mono Normal before and after the Hisui mons got added is like two entirely different types, it's insane. Gaining a Normal/Ghost type was essential, and either form of Ursaluna can put in a ton of work. Just having an actual volt switch immunity is huge (Diggersby sucks lol). Then in Paldea we got a dragon type spinner with regenerator, Farigiraf who I think is sort of slept on as an anti-HO mon (the priority immunity is massive), and a couple new moves on old mons like Triple Axel for Ambipom/Cinccino/Meloetta. Not to mention Terapagos as well, also a spinner option and just overall a great mon even without Tera being legal. I agree with the C tier placement overall just because of how much stronger other types can be, but I could definitely see it get pushed a little higher. Especially if Terapagos stays legal (which I think it 100% will, no reason to ban a mon that's only legal on Mono Normal if they're not gonna ban shit like Chien Pao or Flutter Mane lol).

Out of the C ranks I think normal has the highest potential of being higher I've been seeing a lot of normal in the high ladder and I've had some players tell me it's capable of beating some of the top types. Plus bloodmoon is still a crazy pokemon to deal with

I don't play monotype in Gen 9 (or just playing in general for that matter, that generation completely burned me out very quickly) so seeing how it has changed compared to previous gens is crazy, notably seeing Rock and Fighting ranking above Electric, that is something I wouldn't have foreseen

When tapu koko is nono, then electric is cocooked Yeah no tapu koko guts electric hard when every other type got new good stuff

Grass is MUCH better than you give it credit for and I've achieved great success with it. Breloom annihilates dark once you remove sableye, Toedscruel spikes all over fairy teams and triple axle Meowscarada - insane! Offensively is the key I think.

wow. incredible video. changed my life. TTK rock nation kingdom monarchy empire utopian liberation is so real. thank u for this divine dew of wisdom from the leaf of knowledge. truly an elysian, angelic distillation of purity. ttk changed my life, incredibly accurate tierlist which has in fact made me see the world entirely differently. i mean wow, what could ever top this? let it be known TTK is THE poketuber, THE monotyper and THAT guy. pronouns be he cuz he HIM. incredible, so much so that i am at an utter loss of words. ¡que emocionante! see, i even turned into an irl paldean person. the impact TTK has on us as a community and collective. insane.

Water did have an easier time in earlier iterations of the meta but power creep with DLC brought stuff that annoys it. Though ogerpon wellspring and gren are still very strong mons for the type
