When I was in high school my track workout, because I was a sprinter on the track team, was sprint the straights, walk the curves. The only thing that ever happened worth telling a story about was when the girls were having archery practice and one of the track guys yelled "I bet you can't hit me." One of the girls shot him in the leg. They never had archery and track practice on the same field again.
