I believe alpine made millions of v series Amplifiers and the v12 was one not custom. but I’m sure it was fun to put in Lol. And the bumper also may not be a repaint but sometimes the paint they used on plastics in the 80s 90s and early 2000s would fade differently that’s why a lot of cars from the 90s had the lower sections and plastic fiber glass ground effects a different color than the metal body parts. They now do it easily but back then they had issues with that. Not sure in your case and definitely congrats on the car!!!

Hard to find parts for these cars. Everyone says those brake vents always go with age. Head unit can be replaced easily. Car sounds great! Isn’t the V12 what you really want to hear versus the radio.

That excelon double din radio is wonderful unit. You have like the energizer bunny of radios, that thing will work for ever if you take care of it. You have premier aftermarket stereo tech from the era of when the car was new. It’s a time capsule on another level. Take a flashlight and look at the speakers behind the grilles in the doors plz I’m pretty sure there’s something special there too...

Love the spec of your Murcie. I like this original Murcie more than the lp640 because of the classy and effortless styling. Please watch after this beauty and you are lucky with only minor/small issues.The only thing which need update on the original Murcie are the brakes. I love your car! You can lock the engine vents in open position. Open them fully and find switch in engine bay and switch it off. They will stay open. And remove those aircool brake hoses rightaway as they can create big drama and for time being you don't need it (till new ones arrive) as we found they make little to no difference for road use.

The Custom amp was an Alpine MRV-F545 4/3/2/Channel amp it was a good amp for the day really . But no custom built one . I love the car and the content though keep up the good work!!

It’s an aftermarket V12 series Alpine amp, they were big in the early 2000’s, I’m thinking it’s most likely a 4 channel amp for the door speakers in your car. You should check behind the grilles and look you most likely have aftermarket speakers as well. They come with 6.5 inch component speakers in the door from factory so they’re perfect candidates. But “custom” amp that says v12 on it is not the right idea. The digital display is a thermometer for the amp internally if you haven’t figured that out either... and plz for the love of god don’t use bass boost or turn the gains up past the source level input voltage from the head unit, the gains are meant to match that voltage. Anything else is distortion and that’s the worst thing that could happen to this planet.

If the battery is from 2012 probably is crawling for life and that’s maybe a reason why the side wings aren’t functioning properly. Get it tested it’ll be a relief or having to buy the modules of them.
