Titian Quest world with Grim Dawn action combat systems would be perfect. The thing about TQ I didn't like was that the movement and pathing in original TQ was a bit clunky while Grim Dawn was smooth and just felt really refined and natural. I always thought that if TQ was made with the same engine as Grim Dawn, it would have been so much better and much more popular. Also, I always thought Crate as a company really missed their chance to be an industry leader in ARPGs. If they had just kept developing Grim Dawn like Path of Exile had, I honestly believe that Grim Dawn would have been THE ARPG of the last 2 decades, not POE. Grim Dawn was so much more superior to POE at the time of its release. It's a shame they stopped developing on Grim Dawn and not kept making new content for it and promoting it. Grim Dawn was much more a closer spirtual successor to Diablo 2 than POE is.

Having played way too much TQ1 back when it released, I want it to be awesome. Looking at the video, they seem to have created a world that looks and probably feels surprisingly close its predecessor, but I have my doubts if they can nail combat and itemization. It'll be hard to get it right, so that it feels like a good balance between the original TQ and a modern ARPG. Right now, I am actually looking forward to the next GD expansion, a thought that I even had while having a lot of fun playing POE2.

5. Appellation for Currency and Weapons. A) In-Game name for Money Currency : Drachma and Orichalcum. i) Instead of gold, which we see in every other game, name the currency Drachma (Δραχμές - ΔΡΧ), more immersive with the environment of TQ2. (Fun Fact, Drachma was the oldest consistently used currency in the world until 2002). ii) Obtaining Legendary Orichalcum (Ορείχαλκος - ΟΧΛ), in rare occasions, from special Quests, Unique Gifts, Boss Fights, Secret Sacred Hidden points in the world of TQ2. Rare Orichalcum would be for special occasions, for example crafting, sacrifice or buying unique Items etc. (Orichalcum in mythology, a legendary precious metal that was mentioned by Plato in his work Timaeus and Kritias. Orichalcum was mined from Atlantis as a magical blue-green crystal💎). B) Use the original Hellenic words for describing weapons. For example : i) Xiphos (Ξίφος), for short leaf swords. ii) Spatha (Σπάθα), for long swords. iii) Makhaira (Μάχαιρα), for straight blades. iv) Kopis (Κοπίς), for short forward curving knifes. v) Falcata (Φαλκάτα), for long forward curving knifes. vi) Dory (Δόρυ), for spears. vii) Pelekys (Πέλεκυς), for axes. viii) Labrys (Λάβρυς), for double bitted axes. Not Gladius. Gladius is Latin a Roman sword. Thriving for More Immersion and Uniqueness.

6. Recruit Mercenaries/Companions from different Factions, More Pet's and Naming our Pet's. A) Recruiting Humans, Amazons, Satyrs, Centaurs, Nymphs etc. to aid us in a Quest, (like Jason when recruiting the Argonauts in his Quest for the Chrysomallos aka. the Golden Fleece). B) More Variety of Pet Animals : Fox🦊, Dog🐶, Wolf🐺, Boar🐗, Bear🐻, Ram🐏, Goat🐐, Lynx🐈‍⬛, Leopard🐆, Snake🐍, Big Lizard🦎, Owl🦉, Eagle🦅, Vulture🐓, Peacock🦚, Bat🦇, Large Ant🐜 (see bestiary 71), Spider🕷, Crab🦀, Scorpion🦂. C) Mount's that can also aid in battle. Horses🐎, Deers🦌, Bulls🐂 (kicking and stomping creating earthquakes), Winged Horses like Arion (hurling hurricanes), Pegasus (bringing down thunderstorms), Monsters like Hippocampus (causing a tidal wave), Griffin (making a blizzard storm), Phoenix (creating a blaze of fire). ‘’Flexibility and Choice". More Variety and Attachments with our Pets.

3. Add-ons, Masteries, More Customization and Variety. A) Add-on Magical Girdles and Power Belts : Just like we have Caps and Shoulder Pads, a total of 12 item slots with the Artifacts when added, 14 in total with the Potion slots. (in mythology, Girdle of Hippolyta, Orion’s Belt). B) Add One-Handed Magic Weapon Items : Wands/Scepters/Short Staffs (Like the Caduceus, Hermes staff, More Variety of weapons for Mages and the Ability for Mages to Carry a Small Shield, a Mage Shield specifically for Mages only). C) Add Off-Hand Magical Items : Two-Handed Magical Lyre 𓏢 /Stone Tablet/Book 📖, (Holding the item in one hand, shooting projectiles from the other, Again More Variety for Mage builds). D) Add 3 New Masteries, one related specifically to Hellenic Culture : (Hopefully🤞in the future for example, in Egypt we can have a specific mastery related to Egyptian culture, a Sand/Medjay Mastery for example, food for future Ideas😉). But for now let's focus on Hellas. i) Might/Agility : Cavalry Mastery, a Mount Mastery performing relatable skills with the mount, on the mount, something unique never seen). ii) Vigor/Knowledge : Oceanus Mastery, an Elemental Mastery of Water/Air, bringing forth the powers of the Sea and Winds, (like Ice/Lightning, Earth/Fire). iii) Might/Vigor : Olympic Mastery, a combination of Pankration/Hoplite skills, this one Related to Hellenic Culture. Pan (all) and Kratos (strength, might, power), literally means “to have/control all of the power/might''. Pankration is a ancient unarmed martial art (MMA style) combat fighting in battle and sport introduced into the Greek Olympic Games in 700 BC, (Νοῦς ὑγιὴς ἐν σώματι ὑγιεῖ) "(healthy mind, healthy body) mentality of Hellenic Philosophy, to be balanced and have Virtues. 12 in total Masteries at end game, that are related to Hellenic mythology and culture, (12 being an important number in ancient Hellas, the 12 Olympians, the 12 labours of Heracles). More Chooses, More Playability, More Diversity and above all, New Masteries, not just the same original 9 from TQ1. ‘’Flexibility and Choice". More Diverse and Connection.

1. VFX, Environment, Looting, Crafting, Music, Multiplayer, Languages and Enemy/NPC Movement. A) Climate Change : A beautiful touch to see in-game would be to have random weather change, Rain 🌧, Storms ⛈, Snow 🌨, Heatwaves ☀ and a season cycle, Autumn, Spring, Summer and Winter. Thriving for Uniqueness. B) Environmental Interaction. i) Grass/Nature movement when running through tall foliage, Ripples/Splashes when running and performing skills in Water and Footprints left behind when running on sand and dirt need work. (In the demo gameplay felt awkward as if the player was walking on air). ii) Enemy Movement feels a little off and similar, for example Eagles flapping their wings and flying feels slow, it's a eagle, it should move like one, not move in the same speed of a Ichthian Brute. It would be nice to see more variety of random colour skin versions on enemies. For example more skin patterns for crabs, eagles, boars, wolves, Ichthians etc. More variety of variant sizes of enamies, depending on their level. iii) Looting corpses animation needs work. (Did not feel natural in gameplay). Looting for Unique Items or to Complete a Legendary Set. It would be nice to also be able to find in Rare occasions (boss fight, special reward, divine intervention, which will randomly drop or we can choose as a reward a Blueprint for a Legendary item). In order to Craft that item, we will have to think if we want to Sacrifice other Rare/Magical/Epic item's with Charms/Relics with a amount of Rare Divine Metal like Orichalcum and a Rare Scroll, paying specific Rare Blessed by Hephaestus blacksmith's in Drachma to forge that item. Not just the same looting system from TQ1 based just on luck of drop, but having both options. Making Unique Crafting part of the game but difficult to execute. Giving us "Flexibility and Choice". iv) Statues, Temples should be painted. We know for a fact that statues and temples were painted in ancient times. It was not just white marble. v) The visual after effects from a skill should fade away slower. (Ground Cracks, Fire Burning out, Ice Melting etc.). Visual skill effects should fade more Naturally and Immersive with the Environment and Style of the game itself, not like it's in Fast Forward when the rest is not. More environmental destruction/interaction is always appreciated and satisfying. (after lava fissure, walls crumbling, pottery destroyed olive oil catching fire, tree and foliage having a burning effect and turning burned/black after a skill is performed and visual structure damage "leaving the battlefield in ruins, setting the battlefield ablaze." Steam news post on Oct 30. (until we restart the game, that is, just to do it again😉). C) Couch CO-OP especially for Consoles, on the big screen. Playing with a Companion Together Side by Side like old times. Cross-Platform Multiplayer for everyone to connect and enjoy. D) The Return of TQ1 Music would be a nice touch. E) I've noticed additional languages that fans want added are Italian, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Brazilian. F) I've noticed fans asking for the secondary option of WASD playability. G) NPC's Must Feel More Alive : Villages/Cities Not to be so Lifeless and Stiff. Having the residents interact with their environment, people talking in the Agora, training, gathering olives, wheat🌾, fishing🎣, herding animals, listening to Poems and Stories by Scholars, praying and children running around etc. (Not having everyone just standing straight, around in a circle, not moving, looking at nothing, talking to nothing, doing nothing, it's Dull, feels Fake). More Movement, More Expressions, More Feeling, More Life in the World of TQ2.

7. World Map. Since Titan Quest 2 is taking place in the Hellenic world (for now😉), it would be nice to explore as much of the mythical world we know from Hellenic Mythology and Culture : i) The main land, Hellenic city states and kingdoms, Sparta, Athens, Epirus, Macedonia, Thrace, the Kingdom of Mycenae and Troy. ii) The Mediterranean Islands, Crete (where the Minoan civilization started and where the hero Theseus killed the Minotaur), Lemnos (where Hephaestus grew up), Delos (where the twins Artemis and Apollo were born) and Cyprus (the island of Aphrodite). iii) To the Hellenic Mythical Kingdoms of Themiscyra, the kingdom of the Amazonian women (where Heracles performed one of his labours to retrieve Hippolyta's Magical Girdle). The Mythical Kingdom of Colchis (where Jason and the Argonauts retrieved the Golden Fleece) both kingdoms crossed the Hellespont into the Black Sea. And the Mythical Kingdom of Aethiopia, where the High Soul of Shining/Glowing appearance mythical Aethiopians lived, according to Hesiod in his Theogony (relating them to Eos a Titaness, the deity and personification of the Dawn and Helios the rising of the Sun Titan, indicating the movement of the sun from East to West). Where Homer in the Odyssey locates them across Cyprus next to the Arameans around Sidon in the Levant connecting them to Oceanus aka the Mediterranean Sea. Where Strabo locates Andromeda's Rock where you can find it today above Joppa. As in the original Hellenic story. Not the later reimagined, romanticized and rationalized Roman versions from the 1st century BC, in which they believed it hailed south of Egypt, combining Homer's 8th century BC Mythical Kingdom of Aethiopia in the East from Hellenic Mythology, with Herodotus's 5th century BC Geographical Term of Aethiopia in the South from History, that locates them south of Egypt and Libya to create their own version of the story and to give it a more realistic approach instead of divine. Homer's 8th century BC Mythical Kingdom of Aethiopia in the East from Hellenic Mythology has Nothing to do with Herodotus's 5th century BC Geographical Term of Aethiopia in the South from History, nor with today's country Ethiopia which was established in 1275 AD as the Ethiopian Empire by Yekuno Amlak. iv) The coastline of Asia Minor, Aeolis, Ionia, Karia, Lysia and Ilion in Mysia where the city of Troy fell. (Fun fact, the region of Ilion was the inspection for Homer to name and create his epic poem The Iliad). v) To Sicily, (where Odysseus passed through Skylla and Kharybdis). vi) To the Hellenic colonies of Massalia, (in today's French and Spain). vii) To the Pillars of Heracles, (at the Strait of Gibraltar where Heracles performed again another of his labours). viii) To the "Mythical/Lost" City of Atlantis (maybe in the Eye of Sahara before it became a desert🤔). Plato's ideal concept of a Utopian "real" city in his work Timaeus and Kritias or is it a teaching that we should not be arrogant and respect boundaries, a lesson not to indulge in hubris or else face the wrath of the Gods.🧐 More Immersion with the stories of old, more Exploration and more Knowledge.

Havent been following TQ2 very closely, so a lot of this was new to me. I would have hoped they have 2 magic and 2 martial masteries on release, with those 3, there are just 3 combos to go. And if you want to be pure physical damage, warfare is your only option. I also find it weird how lightning and poison are grouped together between Knowledge and Agility. Hopefully I can pull off a Lightning 2 handed melee weapon.

2. Iconography for Interface, Background for Inventory, Item and Skill List. (Minoan, Mycenaean, Hellenic Mosaic/Ceramic Art Style, like the Attributes). A) For the UI Health and Mana Bars. (Replaceable Orbs or barely visible in the Orbs either from the start of a New character or when we decide to choose a Mastery, making the UI more suitable and relatable to us and our build). i) The Rod of Asclepius⚕(God of Medicine and Healing, son of Apollo, also today's symbol for medicine and healing) for health and the Caduceus of Hermes ☤ (psychopomp or "soul guide") for mana. ii) The Spiral of Life 🌀 for health and the Blue Eye 🧿 for mana. iii) Amphora🏺for health and a Torch🔥(the symbol of Hecate, Goddess of Sorcery and Magic) for mana. iv) The Sun ☀ (the Titan Helios bringing a new day) for health and the Moon 🌙 (the Titaness Nyx bringing the night, when mystical things happen) for mana. v) A Scale ⚖ (the symbol Themis of Divine Order, Balance and the personification of Dike the spirit of Moral Order aka Justice). Columns🏛(indicating Hellenic art) or Stone Tablet's with the words written in the Hellenic language, υγεία (health) and μαγεία (magic). vi) Fruits, a Red/Golden Apple🍎 (as in the golden apples from the garden Hesperides) or Pomegranate (like when Persephone ate in Hades) or Lotus🪷 flower (like the Lotus Eaters in the Odyssey) for health and a Fig🌰 or Grapes🍇 or Olive Branch for mana. (fruits have played a massive part in Hellenic culture and civilization). vii) Icons of Monsters/Animals, the Pegasus, Python for health and Chimera, head of Medusa for mana. (see bestiary 44, an image of evil to repel evil). A Bull🐂, Lion🦁, Eagle🦅, Turtle🐢 for health, a Owl🦉, Dolphin🐬, Peacock🦚 for mana. viii) Have ALL of them, including the existing Orbs, Health🔴and Mana🔵. In-Game the player can decide at the very beginning for each build what they like and fits their build, making each character more customizable and even More Unique. (Instead of just everyone having plain round orbs like we see in every other game, it's not bad but gets boring). Thriving for Uniqueness and Attachment's. B) For The Background in Skill menu, we can have a Hellenic art style like ancient amphoras. Red Figure and Black Figure Painting Style. Ceramic style and colours or Raster Mosaic Art. Not so empty and dark/black. But more Hellenic Art. Skill Leveling (TITAN ICHOR) should be in Archaic Hellenic capital Alphabet numerals, (Α,Β,Γ,Δ) not in Latin Roman numerals, (I,II,III,IV). C) Item Depictions and Inventory, seem too dark and not clear probably because of their background colours. I suggest a screen/frame colour pattern around the items indicating what kind of item it is (white, yellow, blue, green etc.) and a different colour background (again ceramic, a light reddish-orange behind the items or Raster Mosaic Art for the item to be more visible, with the name and statistics of the item written in black for example. Relating it to Hellenic Artwork). For the Grid of the Inventory Menu, the columns around our hero and inventory below should be more painted. A little More Bright and Colorful in the UI Menu Page. More Customisation, Attachment to our Hero and Immersion with the Environment, Culture and Style of the game itself. More TQ Thriving for More Immersion and Uniqueness.

4. A Devotion Star System on the Milky Way 🌌, Galaxy (Γαλαξίας:Galaxias) with Constellations. (The Galaxy was created when Hera unknowingly breast milked Heracles as a baby and a gush of divine milk tinged the heavens, giving birth to the Milky Way). Acquiring Devine Sacrifice in rare occasions, either by Quest rewards or Boss fights and devoting it to a Temple of the God that relates to our build giving us Favour to Add to a Constellation. Only 3 masteries for EA? PO2 has 6 classes at the the start of EA and 12 Ascendencies. I play a lot of Titan Quest 1 but i will not put my money in an EA with so few masteries. And what is piss me of is the fact that they are edited by THQ Nordics and they don't want to take the risk but put it on us the players. Players forget what happen to a lot of project in EA lately.

Its got the name and the setting, but the item system from the first Titan Quest and Grim Dawn still belong to Crate, which makes this game just a skinsuit of a TQ game. No bueno for me. also Crate is working big stonking dlc for Grim Dawn as we speak, and I would not be surprised if we see at Grim Dawn 2 in a couple of years lmao
