I can see us breaking a record and doing the quad. There are 4 comps and there is such fierce and close competition for starts that no one will let it slip. Zinny had an excellent game and looked really sharp. A solid 8 in my book. Subbed for Lewis Skelly who was as good with and without the ball didn't get a goal so I would give hin 7 1/2. No problem playing either of these against any opponent. Same with Odegard Havertz Rice and Nwaneri, choose any two of those.

PL season is long and exhausting. Nobody knows what happens to starting XI through the season. Contracts, fatigue, injuries etc. what Arsenal must realise that a team like City are relentless. No pressure goes to them as they’ve been there in past 10 years. Squad depth is what Arsenal must invest in. There were no issues with goals last season but a traditional number 9 is needed. ( Gyokeres ) Saka needs competition. He gets run and becomes non productive towards the end of the season. Get Saka competition. Partey 70% of Arsenal career injured. Top player when fit. Not reliable with fitness. Then the issues with teams like Aston Villa. Fulham and West Ham where they outplayed Arsenal off the park last season and Arsenal lost key points vs these teams that set up to hurt Arsenal. They never hurt City. I believe Arsenal are still 2/3 key players away from toppling City.

Winning the prem would be the icing on the cake and shows the hard work the gaffer has done forming the team to his vision but I will be happy if we make a good account of ourselves and finish above Man City. Jesus and Havertz had chemistry right from the start last season. Jesus and Jorghino were the only ones. Everyone else took some time, notably Odegaard and Havertz didn't click until 2024.

@@dunuobinna7574 Partey had to hold down midfield on his own due to the tactics the coach used during the preseason tour. He was also playing with a couple of kids who didn't understand his game. I noticed he was absolutely slated online. Then everyone suddenly went quiet when he dominated midfield following a tactical switch in the 2nd half. Everyone naturally comes back slow after a long layoff. Especially after long term injuries. Rice looked sluggish and off the pace the other night but I didn't see everyone calling for his head. There is an agenda and I know exactly when it started. Even certain people on prominent KZbin channels made it a point to push the agenda. Fortunately his performances in some crucial games made it backfire. This nonesense has to stop. If the manager thinks he is washed, he would do the needful. All this nonsense that affects team spirit is unnecessary.
