President Carter and his wife are rich in good works, which is invaluable for an eternity!

Bahahahahaha ... Obviously you weren't trying to sell a product or fill orders during Carter's administration. Everybody wants to glorify an "old man", but refuse to remember 22% APR, its accompanying inflation and unemployment, and states passing ussury laws. I have no concept of what kind of man Carter is / was ...

Why are the taxpayers still give ex presidents a paycheck? No politician or president should the taxpayers have to support them once they leave office, or voted out .

For some extra perspective on this topic, I highly recommend the book "Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure: The True Story of a Great American Road Trip". A great read.

It was so fun listening to Fox’s several years of attacks on Clinton’s memoirs, claiming he’d never finish, and that it was ghost written. Fox heads weren’t bothered by that contradiction. Of course he was late, Clinton was late to every event he attended. The publisher certainly knew he would be late when they signed contract and issued bonus. When he finished and presented his hand written in pen, sixteen wirebound notebooks they somehow failed to apologize. The problem with being former president is editor is too hesitant to edit. It really could have used editing. There are stretches that are too long, for no apparent reason. Sold lots of copies, publisher made their money back.

I agree! Clinton’s book was a great read but stretches toward the end needed to be edited. I do admire Jimmy Carter avoiding the clutches of greed and focusing on building homes for the needy! I also loved the Peace Corps that he championed. It definitely helped us learn so much more about other cultures! ❤

The irony of net worth is oftentimes you won't get fair value for what you own. The moment he starts liquidating that true social stock, the entire thing collapses.

@@jotac87278 You people are so blind. You attribute every negative thing that happens during a D’s presidency on the R’s, but then every time something good happens during that D’s presidency, you then attribute to that D. You can’t have it both ways. Either blame everything on the previous president, or the current president, but you can’t pick and choose based on what fits your narrative. But to Obama’s credit, it’s just like Joe Biden said: "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man.” The first huh?
