Hi Lisa, I recently torch fired some thicker pieces with PMC3, and it retained a yellow haze on the most intricate parts. Have you experienced this? Pickling doesn't seem to help, nor does quenching. Maybe I didn't fire it long enough?

I really would have liked to see the whole thing in one video. does fire mt gem have all this stuff? Inc the Teflon matt. do I have to have that Teflon matt. once fired do you do anything to get the stamp to show. I'm very interested In this clay but not really sure how it wors

Hi there Alli, we do have the Teflon sheets available at FMG: bit.ly/2mwqaxR. It is recommended to use some kind of surface like Teflon to protect your working area. After firing, Lisa uses a range of finishing techniques to really bring out the details she wants. This includes more sanding if necessary. Some artists like to use patinas and liver of sulfur to create aged or other looks.
