We did a stand by. We stood near my mom's porch when she came from the hospital. We all had noise makers, balloons flowers, and plants. We sang and mom made a short speech. I think stopping would be a little more personal. Love the decorations.

The one they did on my street they were going back and forth up the road to not stop traffic, she probably got it on the second or third run. If you notice they all lined up at the other end of the street and turned around.

somebody in my neighborhood is having this and all the honking is driving me insane.
@rachelh52114 жыл бұрын
We plan to do a drive by "see you later" party for my son who is leaving for Air Force Basic Military Training on Sunday. We don't know when we will see him next, given the fact that many of those in the military have been prevented from traveling home during this pandemic. I already texted many of my neighbors to let them know there may be some honking tonight due to this party happening. They all responded with, "No worries." Maybe instead of being selfish you could consider how much joy it brings to the recipients who are missing out on the real parties they deserve. What is a few minutes of honking in the light of what's going on in the world around us?
@rachelh52114 жыл бұрын
@@sunnynxtes 5 hours?! That's out of hand. We gave a 1 hour time frame for the party on our invitations, and since it's a surprise we're hoping people come close to the start time, not the ending time. Also, sorry to hear about your aunt....
@sunnynxtes4 жыл бұрын
@@rachelh5211 Thank you, and hopefully my aunt is alright. And the worst part is, I live in a neighborhood where most homes are close together, so almost everybody in my neighborhood was annoyed by it. I'm okay with it in general, but if it goes on forever, its an issue.

This is a sweet idea but all the honking instantly skyrocketed my heart rate and would have thrown me into a migraine and full sensory meltdown irl. Hopefully all the neighbors were on board, I'd feel bad for anyone who was working remotely trying to not lose their job from all the background noise, or just trying to let their baby sleep
@andreapatane42044 жыл бұрын
Drive by birthday parties rock, because you get to see your relatives, friends, neighbors and everyone else you know and trust when you try your best to prevent COVID-19 from spreading. Sometimes when you're a foreign individual who culturally raises his or her voice in regards to losing tempers from one another, it may lead to unpleasant results which means that others around you will be left no choice but to call the police or the HOA. Besides, it is bad behavior that you shouldn't do during a drive by birthday party which is commonly a vehicle parade as seen on ABC 7️⃣ and many other news stations in the United States. I may personally ruminate that it's also unacceptable to boss people around when it comes to waving to everyone who drives by your 🏠 in a 🚗, because it's important that you should switch your seat as quickly as you can before the police site you for not wearing a seatbelt. 👍🏻 if you agree and learned how to observe the example of people you know and don't know when they manage to stay 6️⃣ feet away from the host or hostess that runs the drive by event in the neighborhood.

What’s the point of no one wearing a mask???
@charleshetrick31528 ай бұрын
The masks are pointless anyway unless they’re P100 rated anyhow. Put on one of your masks, open a bag of Doritos or similar. If you can smell the Doritos then you can inhale the virus.
