I was in the hospital last week (not covid) and a covid patient went home. Hospital staff met in the hallway to cheer a covid patient went home. The cheering in the hospital was so loud it seemed like the whole building rocked. It also lifted staffs spirits. I talked with a nurse later and told about a person in our family called it fake news.. he replied there's nothing fake about it. He had seen many die. One more thing, the health care workers have worked so hard amidst so much suffering, need all the praise the can be surrounding them.

I’m very anxious about the opening of public services at this time. My wife and I are in the senior age group with some of the listed health issues. Being retired our lifestyle is not as active as the working public but it’s being exposed to things from others who are out in the public and using some of the stores and services that we also use is my concern. I think it’s just too early for opening many of the public places that have been discussed. We need a national plan that all states can agree with.

Social distancing would have been fine- abusing power and ordering people to stay at home for MONTHS, impeding upon their civil rights, is far more dangerous and has completely screwed the economy, which undoubtedly will cause FAR more deaths in the end than COVID ever will.
