I have encountered Min Min lights. Driving near Edenhope Victoria. Driving a tray back truck at 100 kilometres per hour we saw a light moving around a paddock next to the road. I thought it was someone doing donuts with a big spotlight on their roof. All of a sudden this basketball size light appeared at my drivers window , no more than a metre away for 15 seconds while I maintained a steady speed. Then it went into the tray of the truck between the tool boxes and seemed to be looking through the back window. Then it went to the passenger window for about a minute and then it took off at a speed I have never seen so fast into the distance. This was about 25 years ago. I still remember as clear as the day it happened. I have shared this story, but folks think I’m bull shitting. At least I had a witness with me.

I have called Australia home for 41 years. My only misadventure with Australia's 'deadly creatures' was a bite by a centipede of Christmas Island, an overseas territory of Australia. Locals applied an antidote (made of vinegar-soaked centipedes themselves) and the pain went away in minutes. A well-known surfer attacked by a shark went back to the surf within days. I never know of AUSTRALIA being in F-E-A-R. It's a mystery to me.

@@memary6730 I didn't mention Australia. I was referring to an American lady pronouncing Yorkshire as I might a type of horse. I live in Warwick, Warwickshire, England. Where you live and how you want to pronounce it is up to you.

I live in Warwick, Warwickshire, England. I think you need to speak to someone who isn't English and doesn't live in Shakespeare's County. Cheers.

@@memary6730 I know you shear sheep in Australia and the weather is hot. If I've got that wrong, I apologise.

Dude, your vider is incorrect. Aboriginies were not around when these prehistoric marsupials were in australia. Aboriginals have been here between 40 & 50 thousand years not millions of years so they would not have interacted with these dinosaurs at all.

Hello from USA, I really would appreciate it if you could clear up something for me, its really eating at me and I just have to know , I think I know what it means but , anyway, what is a " minge"?. LOL, thank you for any help with this .

Of course there are strange things in Australia. We all know that the animals were gigantic we were so isolated from the rest of the world. Don't need Americans telling us what we had or didn't have,
