PURCHASE THE REPLAY of Wealthion's online conference from 3.18.23 at wealthion.com/...
The recent Wealthion Spring online conference happened this past Saturday.
It was a phenomenal event. The faculty was stellar. The timing of the material couldn’t have been more relevant to what’s going on in today’s highly uncertain markets.
But I’m not going to tell you how great it was; I’m going to show you.
I’ve got a selection of clips here from the speakers for you to watch & judge for yourself.
The full list of speakers included Lacy Hunt, Marc Faber, Danielle DiMartino Booth, Michael Pento, Stephanie Pomboy, Michael Lebowitz, Nick Gerli, Doomberg, Rick Rule, Mike Maloney, Craig Wichner of Farmland LP, Lucky Lopez, Jeff Clark, Lance Roberts, and Mike Preston & John Llodra from New Harbor Financial.

At Wealthion, we show you how to protect and build your wealth by learning from the world’s top experts on finance and money. Each week we add new videos that provide you with access to the foremost specialists in investing, economics, the stock market, real estate and personal finance.
We offer exceptional interviews and explainer videos that dive deep into the trends driving today's markets, the economy, and your own net worth. We give you strategies for financial security, practical answers to questions like “how to grow my investments?”, and effective solutions for wealth building tailored to 'regular' investors just like you.
There’s no doubt that it's a very challenging time right now for the average investor. Above and beyond the recent economic impacts of COVID, the new era of record low interest rates, runaway US debt and US deficits, and trillions of dollars in monetary and fiscal stimulus stimulus has changed the rules of investing by dangerously distorting the Dow index, the S&P 500, and nearly all other asset prices. Can prices keep rising, or is there a painful reckoning ahead?
Let us help you prepare your portfolio just in case the future brings one or more of the following: inflation, deflation, a bull market, a bear market, a market correction, a stock market crash, a real estate bubble, a real estate crash, an economic boom, a recession, a depression, or another global financial crisis.
Put the wisdom from the money & markets experts we feature on Wealthion into action by scheduling a free consultation with Wealthion’s endorsed financial advisors, who will work with you to determine the right next steps for you to take in building your wealth.

With markets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hike, while treasury yields are rising rapidly which means more red ink for portfolios this quarter. How can I profit from the current volatile market, I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $120,000 bond/stock portfolio.

Incorrect...Markets are no longer tumbling, inflation has peaked, the Fed is pausing, and treasury yields are going down and steepening the yield curve. If you own bonds, well I'm sorry about that, best hold them to term. Equities however will do very well from this point forward.

I’m so sick of this federal reserve/treasury! It’s OK for small businesses and middle-class to go bankrupt but God forbid a democratic donating venture capitalist bank fails… No! The lacy person is almost a joke. Puts way to much faith in an institution trying to enslave the people and get rid of competition. It's not a theory, there's so much information coming straight from the mouths of the people who created it. It's very clear what the path forward is. There gonna inflate the system till they blow it up and then they'll introduce the final solution and total enslavement CBDCs. But what do I know so I'll just listen to this lacy person!

@hiramabiff7444
@hiramabiff7444 Жыл бұрын
@Chris Paul Lacy is a deflationista and its not going to happen until it all blows up. There's no one in the system who can handle pain. They are going to print over it till it crashes. What the FED is doing is only transitory, lacy is using what Volcker did to come to his conclusions but that is impossible he had a VERY different set of circumstances. Powell is weak and the bank crisis of the past couple of days is more than enough to arrive at that conclusion. Lacys analytical framework is wrong and there not going to control the inflation, this probably ends in hyperinflation.
@contrarian0885
@contrarian0885 Жыл бұрын
The deflationists are relentless. This entire bear market as inflation surged to 9.1% and even now with it still at 6% all they do is look past inflation towards the recession. The more the market keeps doing this the more the long end of the curve will continue to stay low and the greater the risk we will have for core/rent inflation to stay elevated, wages to remain sticky, and oil (which bottoms ahead of everything else anticipating recession) to make a bottom and surge higher in the second half of the year. But hey who cares inflation will go away! It may not go away until the market finally starts thinking it WON’T go away. Recency bias is a product of EGO not intellect! Very smart people can remain overly-invested in their opinions. Not that I’m immune but partisans like Lacy Hunt can seem obstinate to a fault, just like Peter Schiff as well btw!

The interest rate shock was intended to catch up to the inflation spike while also knowing it will be ZERO again in 12 months. That banks like SVB are failing due to Bond losses is the collateral damage that was expected. Bonus that small banks are failing and all money is flowing to the FED protected SIBs. Now the next guy, Michael Lebowitz was spot on.

Thanks @Wealthion for the nice snippets. The conference does indeed look like a treasure trove of ideas. By listening and learning I feel that Financial Repression is the key driver as to what is happening all around us. That the Fed couldn't achieve their 2% inflation target was a clue how important some inflation is. Without it its hard to have repression and hence the debts stay elevated. Then there were the Stimmies. That inflation will be short lived and we will be right back to where we were pre-lockdowns.

And the return to zero interest rates is a joke..... In 2020.... Bandaid after band aid is strategically applied and will atrat finally be pulled off. Avg joe or 98% will have no idea or be in the position to maximize buy outs when hyper inflation or massive deflation occurs. I ter rate cuts or going up further will determine if we go hyper or deflate. Which way do you think we will go? And what will you do if you guess right?

My problem with Lacy Hunt is how he communicates about 'deflation'. When he says 'deflation' he means debt default and economic contraction -- not a reduction in the money supply or price levels. There is nothing to prevent the government from printing more money and hyperinflating (i.e. devaluing) the currency. The quality of life will decrease, but prices may go up or down.

Why is CONGRESS not interested in giving this marvelous assembly of witnesses an opportunity to testify and be examined when America is facing the dilemma of an economic collapse? They are citizens. What was the aphorism for that: Sleeping at the . . . ?

I have heard those arguments forever - even used to make them myself - but once you actually work in nuclear, it becomes clear why the industry is dying. There are a few other guests who I don't necessarily think are bad, but who I know well enough that I wouldn't benefit from listening to them. Is the price worth the material? Yes. But I'm not going to pay $350 for 2-3 people I want. I already am a member of Nick's channel, Lucky gives out his analysis for free every week on his channel, Danielle is everywhere (and I mean that in a good way) so that leaves Stephanie as the main person I'm interested in hearing. The Fed raised the rates to buy back Treasury bonds for pennies on the dollar. Banks are required to own those bonds, so the banks buy them at zero percent, getting no return on. the investment, then the Fed raises rates, and the banks can't get enough for their bonds to cover deposits. Their collateral is devalued, and the Fed puts more banks out of business. Federal Reserve system banks swoop in to grab their assets. It's a racket. They do this every decade or so, and when they have a new currency scam, they do it until they kill the current system.

When house prices go up 30% one year and then come down 20% the next year, it's not a crisis, it's an entertaining roller coaster ride. Everybody tries to time the ride. The housing 'correction' will probably take 3-5 years.

@@MichaelHarrington17 Even so, 20% (or close to 40% in some markets like we've seen) does fit the historical definition of a crash. But the bulls will always move goalposts.

One thing that they will be agreeing on is the fact that human trait of greed will be a constant and unscathed into yet undertermiened future. And for this reason anyone can draw charts to his or her abandon . Stil they will show exuberence in times of unrestrained greed followed by chills of fear that come from a simple reason of realization that excess comparable to gluttony will lead to an invevitable indigestion.

Greed is good. It pushes people to make decisions that are in their best interests. Most people are honorable and good and simply want a better life.

Bonds don't appear to be a safe bet anymore, even supposedly the highest rated bonds. Physical is looking like the safest bet going forward.

The fed will have to monetize the debt once the interest on the debt exceeds tax receipts. Inflation is the end game after deflation happens first.

The issue with majority of these analysts you have on your show is, none of them actually manage money or have actually money on the line - with exception of Mike pento. So there is no accountability to any of their proclaimations. When nothing bad happen, people will forget what they said, if something bad happen 3 yrs down the road, they will say "see, I told you so" these guys position themselve in such way either good / bad outcome to the market, they will come out ahead. It is best to just tune out these talking bubble head, they are in business of selling worthless newsletter. Just control your spending, and dollar cost average into a low cost index fund, and don't look at the market - day to day way too much emotion,

This is not true. Lacy Hunt has an investment company he has been running Hoisington Investment Management Company for thirty years. While dollar cost averaging is a sound investment principal, what you invest in is more important.
