Here's what you NEED to know about Merit Beauty's NEW Priming Moisturizer

I follow about 8 women faithfully on Utube when it comes to makeup. You are the first one to review Merit facial products! Mostly it was the color products. I did not get anything from the just ended Sephora sale. My local Sephora is very tiny and carries only a few products. Not worth a trip. If I remember correctly, you have oily skin, right??? Mine is thin and dry and I'm older than you. Same coloring though. I'll put this on my Black Friday list to check out. There is a dedicated Merit store about 20 plus miles from me but it could take forever to get there with the LA traffic! I think I told you this ages ago but it will take time for your scar to fade. I can't even see mine anymore. I recently (one month ago) had a cancer tumor the size of a walnut removed from above my right eyebrow. It was done by a plastic surgeon who did a good job removing all the cancer and scar is hardly noticeable. Luckilly, I wear bangs! Now I have a second one growing an inch or so away and have an appointment on the 12th to see about its removal while it's small. I let the first one grow too bib. Won't do that again! The office recommended a scar cream but it was expensive and I wanted to see how much the surgery cost before spending any more money. I'll get the name for you on the 12th Nov. Since I always wear bangs, I wasn't too worried about a scar. However, when I had the scar on my neck, I would have gladly paid the money. Hoping you are doing well and avoiding hospitals..

I have been under the weather myself and so has camera guy he has been so sick and being as I have the compromised immune system. I was like you know what you stay at home And don’t come anywhere near me until you get better And he was fine with that. He understands that I can’t be around sick people. I wanna thank you for sharing your story that sounds like you’ve gone through it. I wanna tell you how brave you are and I think it’s amazing that they had a plastic surgeon work on it. I think that’s really great. Hopefully it won’t scar too much but yes, if you have a second one starting, definitely get it taken care of immediately . If you do get this in time, please let me know what the name of the product is. I’m very curious. Yes, they can be expensive here too. Everything here is probably almost twice as expensive as it is where you are, but I am interested in knowing what it’s called. Let me know here or on IG or send me an email Honestly, I had stuff in my cart to pick up at the Sephora sale just a couple of things that I needed to restock on eyelash glue eyeliner did I buy any of it? No. This week has just been one of those weeks and I kept saying to myself or I’ll get it tomorrow. No, I just didn’t happen. I didn’t login to purchase anything. I did purchase something the morning that the sale started. I purchased a couple of items but beyond that I didn’t log back in again. I’m waiting for some specific products to launch and I’m gonna pick those up this week And I’ve got brand new products sitting on my desk to film just waiting for camera guy to feel a little bit better and then of course I started to feel not so great.. that time of the year to get sick I am sending positive vibes and positive wishes that when you see the doctor today everything will be all right . I forgot you were asking me questions about my skin. I would not say it’s oily. I would say right now because of all the chemotherapy and treatments I’ve had over the past year. It’s more sensitive and dry. I wouldn’t say oily, I would say very fair, sensitive and dry lol 😂 It’s definitely more of a translucent look and a different texture than a year ago, I’ll look at past videos from say two years ago and I’m like hmm 🤔 terribly strange I should probably do an updated skin routine video. See you guys know what I’m using right now that is working great on my sensitive skin. I’ll have to put that on the books to film shortly. Wishing you luck today, babe

It’s funny that you mentioned the primer had no scent, when I smelled it at Sephora the smell put me off so much I put it back. Not in a perfume type scent, more of that weird smell that some non fragranced products have. You didn’t notice it?

I didn’t notice it, I had the great skin oil on my face. I find that has a bit of a clean scent. But when I smell this primer on its own, it just has that clean beauty cosmetic smell to me. it doesn’t have an added fragrance scent to it. To me It smells like a regular moisturizer would smell. But everyone is different. There’s a good friend of mine and she absolutely can’t stand the way the Tatcha beauty smells, and I don’t mind that one. Mind you I haven’t touched it in 13 months because it is a very an overpowering smell and I’m easily nauseated right now due to the treatment. But she had a similar experience with that product so I completely understand, everyone’s different. That’s too bad that the product won’t work out for you.
