Security is very key in sustainable agriculture. That is exactly what is motivating me to move to Ghana soon.

Millishield, big name in brick building in Nigeria. What a man!!! Shame on Naija leaders frustrating our legit and reliable men into investing in other countries. Good for Ghana. Hopefully I would be joining the move too. Shout out to Millishield. I am a big fan.

Labor is a gigantic problem in Ghana. Before Ghanaians know it everybody in the world but Ghanaians will be making money cause nobody wants to do hard work. Lebanese, Chinese, Dutch, Nigerians, Togolese, Black Americans..everybody is eating but Ghanaians are sleeping saying the sun is too hot 😂. China man doesn't complain that Ghana sun is too hot, he is making his money IN YOUR COUNTRY. Ghanaians pls wake up and stop complaining. There is work you jsut don't want to do it.

I like his enthusiasm. I don’t know if he has actually done dry season farming in Ghana before. And I’m not sure if the land size but from what he said he will be operating a least 5acres. With one borehole and 20,000 litres of water from his fish tanks, I doubt if it will be able to irrigate all the vegetables in the dry season. Especially using rain gun. Also, with recurrent fuelling expenses , his running cost will really shoot up cuz in the dry season he really has to irrigate often. I’m hoping he actually gets to do the solar for the irrigation as well. But all the same he sounds like a risk taker. Eagerly looking out for his progress

You raise some valid concerns about water and fuel consumption.December rains will surely help. You see the land is more like a waterlogged land with the middle where the ponds are the high ground .thats the reason behind the design. Surprisingly the Harmattan is here but the okro field is still wet. They are actually using the whole 10acres, the other crops will be transplanted in weeks coming. They are really prepared for the season . I agree the solar will greatly help.

@ that’s a relieving to hear cuz I was really concerned he would get stuck. Farming has become very expensive and it really hurts to lose your investments just at the finish line. I’ve subscribed to his KZbin channel. I will be following his progress. Thanks for the reply.

Very educative and inspiring. This is an example of how useless our Naija govt have been. Very discouraging for investors. This is a big investor lost to Ghana. So sad. Which is a big growth for Ghana economy. I am in the diaspora presently and hoping to invest fully into agriculture as a form of investment diversification. Nigeria ought to be the first bet as an Indigene. This is a lesson to us all. My question is can a foreigner, a Nigerian precisely , own land and operate agriculture in Ghana?
