I remember when oil pumps were just oil pumps. No failure-prone solenoids to control flow.

@@OnlineMechanicTips ya cut the wires and connect the new solenoid. It may be a "hack" job but pass the savings to my customers....they appreciate it. Ive done a dozen or so no combacks. I do use techsmsart over dooorman tho lol

VW does not use such a complex design in ea888 motors. First time i have seen it up close on a Pentastar V6.

More unnecessary junk on engines that is unnecessary just on there to sell something else to you you don’t need.

Why would such a complex item fail if proper maintenance has been maintained.
@OnlineMechanicTips24 күн бұрын
A solenoid of any kind can fail at any time. Nothing really complex about a solenoid. The pump usually ok

Why would you pronounce Doorman as Dure-men? It’s a double fault. I know I sound like a jerk for asking but you sound silly in your videos saying it super wrong. Cruel to be kind.

Hey, I got a question. Does Chevy put those 3.6 liter penastars in the Colorado?? If so, what issues are they known for?
