DIVO seems like a solid plan to safely widen your base. I am still in SCHD share stacking mode, currently at 731 shares. Wanting to hit $100k in cost basis before I think about pivoting.

SCHD is a solid choice for dividend investors, especially in uncertain markets. With its consistent dividend growth and solid track record, it feels like a reliable long-term hold. I’m focusing on ETFs like SCHD to balance growth with stability, especially as we navigate the impacts of rising interest rates.

I agree. Even with great opportunities, we should proceed cautiously. Seeking market analysis or advice from certified market strategists is important.

Absolutely, having a solid plan is crucial. My portfolio has doubled since early last year. My financial advisor and I are working towards a seven-figure goal, though it might take until Q3 2024.

Can you share details of your advisor? I want to invest my increased cash flow in stocks and alternative assets to achieve my financial goals.

I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much

DIVO has acceptable total returns. However, it does not look like the dividend growth rate is very consistent. It's not a deal breaker for many, but it's one of the key metrics for my portfolio.

why do you have so many channels about the same thing?

I’ve started to notice that too. I thought I was watching the same channel but it was just his other channels.

He used to have just one channel called "Benji" or something like that I believe, where he would show his face, talk about his vending machine business and other businesses, and primarily talk about dividend stocks. Pretty cool dude, would routinely respond to comments and talk with viewers, etc. When the whole meme stock thing happened, the guy kind of lost his mind for lack of better words. I was still subbed to his channel and noticed there was no more talk of dividend stocks or making income with options, every individual video was about AMC. All of them. Legitimately 500+ videos over the course of a couple years, each of them about how all AMC "investors" becoming gigazillionaires was definitely right around the corner this week/month if everyone held their shares. I unsubbed and commented it was sad how far he strayed from his roots of dividend investing. Then some months later, a ton of anonymous channels about dividend investing with his exact voice and a similar portfolio size popped up. My guess is the guy was embarrassed that he made nothing but AMC videos for like two years and now AMC is in a nearly 99% drawdown from it's all time high, so he made new channels where he doesn't show his face anymore to talk about dividend investing again. As far as why he made, like, six channels, rather than one, I have no idea. Guess he thought people might not notice they're all him and hoped they wouldn't remember he's the AMC guy. I'd suggest he just admits he was wrong about AMC, have one channel, show his face again, and talk about dividend investing again. This multiple channel thing to milk a few more ad bucks out is kinda whack.

I thought you were gonna say DGRO. Once I reach 2100 shares of SCHD-summer of 2025 (currently at 1600), I plan on shifting my focus to DGRO. DIVO is definitely on my radar though!

How are you able to spend $200 a day into buying stocks? Is this what you started out with? Or did you slowly work up to this? What type of job business etc. do you do/own?
@MikeS30913 сағат бұрын
That’s about 5k per month, assuming 25 trading days. So if he’s making between 100 and 200 k, this is doable, especially in a low cost of living area
