@Jake phony baloney. I had a grandfather that was more of a man than anybody I ever met. If anybody tried to hurt the family, they would be picking their head up off the floor. Famous actor that most resembles him is John Wayne. You know what, though? He watched the movie Titanic and needed a tissue. Real men show emotion. Emotion is not a weakness - it is a part of every human on this planet. Some choose to display their emotions more intensely than others, but never think, for a moment, that it's "not manly" to shed a tear. Thank you, have a nice day.

He’s not wrong. My truck is lifted because I love it and it’s badass, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its issues. Another thing to note is that if you buy a cheap lift kit with spacers or whatever, the geometry gets all messed up and can take out your balls joints / suspension components. A nice BDS generally handles this with no worries, but for the brands that just help you get higher, you’re in for a ride

RULE OF THUMB: KEEP YOUR VEHICLE ALL ORIGINAL!!
@JediMasterBaiter
@JediMasterBaiter 2 жыл бұрын
As someone with a lifted Toyota, it constantly needs realigning, the lift kit's outdated so finding replacement parts is annoying, replacing the entire thing would cost more than the truck itself, and worst of all, it was a hand me down, so I don't have any of the original parts! On the plus side, I could just drive through a flood if I wanted to.

Some peolke actually like ti go off-roading. Factory ground ckearance is abysmal. If you lift your vehicle properly, and spend the money necessary, you'll end uo with a good result. That means aftermarket UCAs, aftermarket coilovers instead of spacers, bigger brakes, regearing the diffs, etc. It's expensive. You do it because you want to.

1: yes the center of gravity is higher but with better suspension it can handle corners better 2: if you drive a truck and your lifting it, you already don't care about the gas mileage 3: again, if your buying bigger tires, your gonna pay for bigger tires.....

Takeaways are correct except for the first. Usually you end up with wider wheel base (wider tires) and upgraded suspension (in proper setup) which will balance out the higher center of gravity effect.
